Movistar Spain carrier version went from 57.0 on iOS 17.3 to 58.0 on iOS 17.4

It now allows you to send SMS when the iPhone is connected with VOWiFi or WiFi Calling, and airplane mode on or the iPhone has no cellular signal.

Though, nobody uses SMS anymore in Spain besides banks or official notifications.

My music is still auto pausing itself when I press play via Bluetooth. Never happened until RC and it’s still happening in full release. Disappointing.

I know we just updated this morning but the battery on my 15 PM is so much worse after this update. Hope it resolves itself. Cause it was already mediocre at best.

Mint Mobile went to carrier version 58 instead of the 57.6 indicated in the wiki thing. I don’t know how to edit that. And: I notice no difference at all in behavior from 57.0 (iOS 17.3.1) to 58.0.

Added Mint Mobile since it wasn’t on the list.

If you want to update it I believe you need 25 posts or more to do so, but you go to the main post of the iOS update, and the little dots at the bottom of said post, you tap it and this opens (see image). Tap edit and the written message will open. Scroll to the carrier you wish to update.

Make sure you save and add the comment what is being updated in the form outside of the post.

wow the battery on this build is really bad, installed on a regular 15 and on a 13 Mini (in addition to my 15 PM) and the battery is draining so much faster than usual on all 3 devices.

Done ✅ Seems 58.0 is the latest carrier file for many around the world I’m noticing

The site has to support PWA. I get the same results here in the US so apparently MR doesn’t, or at least that part

I thought it did. I read people use push notifications from MR on iPhone

Significant battery drain overnight on my 15 Pro after installing 17.4 (always in low power mode overnight) hopefully this settles down after indexing etc finishes. Worst than the 17.4RC last week 🙈😃

My iPhone was at 47% and it just let me install the update. I had no idea they changed the minimum charge level.

The minimum charge level of 50%was only on the apple watch...

Are Web Apps still blocked in the EU? I tried adding MacRumors to the Home Screen but it just opens as a browser tab

I'm just so happy that the notification bug seems to finally have been fixed. That's bothered me sine iOS 16. Now if only they could fix ProMotion back to iOS 15 levels of smoothness.
