The Home app got an update as part of 17.4. At some previous update, the room stopped displaying items recently played, now it does again. Also, the sound was messed up until I reset my HomePod Minis. After the reset, one pair did that thing where they said I did not have a music account, tapping on the room cleared it.

The day picker in the Fitness app is completely broken.

It shows the today’s activity as tomorrow’s and then the rest doesn’t really make sense.

Significant battery drain overnight on my 15 Pro after installing 17.4 (always in low power mode overnight) hopefully this settles down after indexing etc finishes. Worst than the 17.4RC last week 🙈😃

share your impressions ,,I suspect that there will be a problem with this build 😳

My 15 Pro Max battery is completely tanked with this update. Hope they release a 17.4.1 to fix.

Yeah two builds higher.

Fixes the square notification bug and removes the home bar 😆
Square notifications are still in, have had them on both RC and stable.
The site has to support PWA. I get the same results here in the US so apparently MR doesn’t, or at least that part
MR supports PWA. Been using it exclusively on my iPhone for push notifications and co. ever since they added notification support for PWAs to iOS.

It was a bit finicky to set up (if I recall correctly, one had to be on the index page of the forums for it to work).

Hello, I don't see any differences nor new apps in Carlplay. How can we see that new features? Thanks!

You need to have a vehicle that supports displaying data in your dashboard display. There are not many that do.
It's likely that the cars that will support it will also need software updates from the manufacturer. This was the case when I worked at a Hyundai dealership and the original CarPlay launched. Knowing next-gen CarPlay was coming was a factor in my last vehicle purchase, a 2023 Civic Sport Touring, as the dash is entirely digital. That said, just because my dash is digital doesn't mean the hardware underneath supports it or, even if it does, that Honda will update current vehicles.

Parallax effect on home screen still broken:

Reduce motion on can effect the parallax in safari on some sites. If that’s any help.
Yes and turning on greyscale removes colour but this isn't the point. Just see this video:

See the thread I linked for an explanation.

15 ProMax. OTA update.

Battery - sucks. Hoping after finishing all of the “things” for an update it improves.
Apple Watch Notifications > mirrored to 15PM and most are not working. Tried off/on/reboot and still having issues. I do get the Notifications on the 15PM however they are not mirrored on the watch.

14Pro here, updated via iTunes. No rogue battery drain, been at 100% for the first 2 hours.
I do have the issue of old Text Messages not showing up unless I search for them first (was also happening on 14.3.1).

After updating, I needed to force restart my devices to refresh the Safari favorite icons, which were displaying as folder icons. Additionally, an active alarm set to snooze during the update got stuck at 0 in Dynamic Island, rendering it unresponsive to closure or snoozing. Force restarting resolved both issues, and I've reported them to Apple.
