I think that's because of problems with Private Relay currently.

100% correct. I have turned off Private Relay and the issues are immediately fixed. I think I'm just going to leave it off, I don't trust it!

It's a Private Relay issue on Apple's end. Just turn it off and there are no more issues.

in 17.5, my 12 Pro had a very noticeable phantom battery drain. Turning off Find My didn't help, And neither did setting low battery mode and turning off Wi-Fi at night.
Updating to 17.6 RC fixed it, and everything else feels very solid.

Not saying its a single app should or are causing this, but this fella deleted instagram and that restored battery time for him. Might be worth a try just to see if that improves things.

No it didn’t… have seen it again with the 17.6 RC
The bug will mostly be carried over to iOS 18 😩

No, quite the opposite on my 13 pro.

What’s your device? Because the iPhone 11 has seen a drop in battery life according to iAppleBytes test.

iPhone 15 pro. Still at 100% battery health but after 8 hrs from unplugging I only have about 62% with moderate to light use. Normally at this time of day it’s still around 75%. I can usually get 2 days out of this phone, but now I’m plugging in at bedtime with only 30%ish.
Edit to add: also my Apple Watches (6&8) are also draining quicker.
