Correct me if I am wrong but should this only be iPhone 14 pro feature? It shows up on my 11 pro and even works. Keeps the screen on all the time

My iPhone 11 does Standby, as well. It doesn't stay on... it times out, much like NightStand on the Apple Watch.

Historically, the first public beta comes out a day or two after dev beta 2 is released.

Unfortunately not. I have it installed on my Watch Ultra and man... it's so damn good. They brought back the now playing icon which makes it easier to manage what's playing now versus clicking and scrolling to find the app. They also introduced auto night mode for the Ultra which also saves me from clicking to set it every night.

After playing around with this for 15 minutes or so, feels really good and surprisingly solid so far. (iPhone 14 Pro)

Stay vigilant ... "that" beta always shows up, sooner or later.

How do you get standby to activate? It's not working while charging in landscape for me

Go to the settings and toggle it on and off.

works when my phone is locked, and charging horizontally...

It's the first beta and some/most/all of that will come as the beta train moves down the tracks...

When watching Apple TV with HomePod stereo speakers paired, does iOS 17 still show the tv control on the Lock Screen regardless of who is watching in the house? Hopefully they fixed that finally.

The Maps transit page looks different. For example, it shows both the Amtrak and MetroNorth lines in Connecticut (even though both ride the same tracks).

Fine on my 14 Pro Max too, people overstate the bugginess of the betas, I haven’t had a buggy 1st beta to the point of being unusable since iOS 7 or 8

So far haven’t really come across anything too major. Couple little super minor glitches here and there, but so far I’m happy with this as a first beta.

Only thing that’s kind of a bummer is the GIPHY iMessage app doesn’t seem to be working, which may actually be something that the app developers have to fix on their end.
