Start screen

Only for English Siri it seems. Still normal hey Siri here in Denmark. As usual new features are halfassed done and only for English speaking or the select major countries with the promise to bring it to other countries in the future. Well QuickPad Keyboard was announced how many years ago now? Still not here in Denmark still. I feel more and more iPhones are getting to the point where they really stopped being relevant in non English speaking countries as new features are left out either completely or will be years before available to them.

Reported the Waze issue I’m having; rebooting the phone just to kill an app is no bueno and I use Waze multiple times a day

After skipping betas for all of iOS 16, I am now back! Just installed and all set up. So far so good. Very smooth.

I did sadly lose my 100% battery health, though, now 99%.

One thing I noticed is the lyrics in Apple Music look slightly smaller now. Is that just my eyes playing tricks or do y’all see that, too?

If one that has the free developer account goes in and sees that IOS17 is there to download is that legit? An Apple error? Be taken away? Did not pay for the developer. Wanting to jump on but thinking Apple will take it away.

In iOS 16 the TV app video player would respond to every inadvertent tap, causing you to lose your place in the video. It was maddening. This is finally fixed in iOS 17.
I see what you mean now, just noticed it in YouTube, too. To be honest, I actually liked being able to scroll by swiping anywhere. Now you have to tap first, then scroll only on the progress bar.

I wouldn’t mind it so much if iOS had a feature like the Netflix app that let you lock the controls; or if it were just more intelligent about detecting accidental taps. I was constantly having to figure out where the video left off because I kept accidentally tapping the screen. It even happened with the scrubber on iOS that controls Apple TV. I’d accidentally tap the timescale, and the video would jump. (I‘m not sure what that feature is called. Like if you’re watching a movie on Apple TV, the scrubber shows up on the iOS/iPadOS lockscreen.)

is updating fine
Webmail account keeps triggering the app to connect. Watch the bottom of the video.

Expecting that to be a battery drain.
Offloaded the app and turned on/off accounts, no change.

@dk001 you seeing this?
