I am guessing there is still no SELECT ALL button for iMessage attachments so I do not have to literally click on each photo individually to delete it? Even a swipe gesture like in the Photos app would already help ... been dying for this for years

Since all the updates are now linked to our Apple IDs, how do we know Apple are not going to back-charge any not registered developers for installing iOS 17 Developers beta?
I downloaded my profile from Apple Beta directly and the iOS17 happens to be available for me to download 😌

I've not tested it yet, but it seems all automations can now be set to run automatically without totally making themselves useless by just popping up a prompt to run.

I'll see if my "leaving home" automation runs and edit this later.

Speaking of automations/shortcuts, there's now a 2x2 widget that can house 2 shortcuts (instead of just the one as was the case prior).

Edit: My location-based automations failed to run. They didn't even try. I've never had much luck with automations being triggered by location - it's been crappy on my phone for many iOS versions.

Edit more: I set an automation to trigger by joining and leaving WiFi instead (as that's the same, for me, as triggering on a location) and that worked. It ran automatically, although I did get a notification saying it had run.

Thinking about running iOS 17 on my daily phone, trying to not let my intrusive thoughts get the best of me 🙄

Very buggy? I've not found them yet.
Can absolutely agree!

In the keynote. Said by magsafe. Hency, the illustration of being on a magsafe wireless charging stand, rotated like watchos bedside.
Not exactly true. I have the peak design mobile wall mount and it works with that as long as I am charging with a lightning cable.

You don’t need to install Xcode. Tap with two fingers to Show Package Content>Contents>Resources>Packages>MobileDevice.pkg

Install that and you should be good. This is also a workaround for unsupported Mac not compatible with Xcode beta.
Tap with two fingers on what exactly ?

Is anyone able to use the stickers created in Messages in other 3rd party apps like Whatsapp,Messenger or Telegram? I'm only able to see them in Messages app.

Not sure if anyone posted this, but you need to be charging wirelessly for Standby to activate. It doesn’t activate if you’re plugged in (from what I can tell).
No, it works with a wire, too. But you have to hold the phone very still.

Poked my head into the Reddit thread to check for bugs there and there was one report of someone not receiving calls. Haven’t seen any other reports after reading through this entire thread and the rest of the comments on Reddit so I’m wondering if it’s an isolated incident. Is everyone else here getting calls just fine?
I don’t get a ton of calls, but I logged in to Google Voice and called my phone and it worked. I also received another call and it worked fine - I even got to test the live voicemail. Cool.

The Settings option to disable multitasking (Split View & Slide Over) has returned!

(Those troublesome little dots persistently at the centre top of the screen are more hassle than the feature is worth for me).
