I agree - can't see that being the final design. Looks out of place (and not very pretty either). Is it just me, or does this look like its designed by someone other than Apple?

Similar iMessages to SMS issues forced me to revert to 16.5. Other than that I was very happy with 17.Noticing sporadically that iMessage seems to drop me down to sending text messages until an iMessage comes in from someone. Then I can respond to the message with a blue bubble. But I can then go into another thread with someone I KNOW has an iOS device (and most likely isn’t on the beta wagon) and I will be forced to send via text message.
Cycling airplane mode fixed it briefly.
Gonna hard restart.
Noticed yesterday that my messages (with others on iOS) would drop to test/SMS (text input field would be labeled ”text” and I’d send green bubbles) until that person sent me something. Then I’d be ok for a message or 2 and it would revert back.
I turned on airplane mode for about a minute and also did a force restart and it hasn’t happened since. But I’m watching for it.
It wasn't something you can hear. The voicemail is transcribed for you to read. At least that's how it worked for me.Nice! You can't just post that and not let us hear the actual Live Voice Mail. LOL, Just kidding! . Glad it works great! One of the most anticipated features in iOS 17! Wish it was introduced before.
Anyone got created stickers to send in imessage? Or can you ONLY send them to ios17 devices?
Apple don't offer refunds on developer accounts, I found this out a couple of years ago. Unless things have changed? I'm in the U.K.30 days to get a refund, no? Apple are pretty understanding with that kind of thing. Just explain you only wanted it for iOS Dev build testing/personal use.

yeah, I just posted this:So per Brandon Butch’s video, you can use your old Apple ID password to get into your account for up to 72 hours after a password change. That is an attempt at addressing the glaring issue of being able to be locked out of your account if your phone + device passcode is stolen.
I think that’s a decent solution overall, though it could just turn into a back and forth game where you and the thief are constantly resetting your Apple ID password. IMO the only true way to fix this is to not allow Apple ID password changes using only the device passcode.
I want to install but people keep having the issue of storage being reduced by as much as 30g.
Seems there are a few others with same issue. Thats somewhat of a show stopper for me as I send a LOT of mixed SMS/iMessages in groups and such. Most in the groups are SMS. Not sure I want to deal with that for 3 weeks.
Yeah I feel like it’s been stolen from VisionOS
Sensitive Content Warning! This is something new!
Challenge: Who wants to test this feature out? I'm afraid!
It runs fine on my 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9.Does Adaptive Mode also work on the first gen Airpods Pro?
Also, still hoping to see some input on how stable iPad OS 17 is.
Slightly refined and colourful look of the Summary page and some others, new metrics for Time in daylight and for Physical effort, new section for logging your emotions and moods.Any changes to the health app? thanks.

Edit: Oh my god.. I just realized you can also reset an Apple ID Password via the Apple Watch. Who the hell thought this was a good idea?!?
I haven't read to the end of comments, but wanted to make sure you know if you hold your finger down after drawing the square, etc., it'll turn it into an actual shape. Pick the size of the line and color first and you're good to go.Yeah I spent like 20 minutes messing with it before giving up and just using my finger to draw the square. I mean, that works, but I really hope they bring back the simpler way to add shapes.
Just what I need
Apple telling me “Bad Porn! Bad Porn!”.
Yeah that was my initial thought too... it just looks out of place and not inline with the rest of the iOS design language for some reason. Is it just me, or does this look like its designed by someone other than Apple?
