For my personal experience, in my iPhone 13PM, beta has been going relatively good, the phone runs hot some times, keyboard hides a lot when trying to type in various apps, and battery life could be a lot better.
AW series 7, this one is more buggier, swiping menus generate glitches on the animations, battery life is awful, I usually charge once and sleep with my watch, wake up and do some things and then charge with around 15-25% depending the exercise recording during the previous day, now, the same day at 10 pm the watch has 9% of battery so I have to charge twice a day and if charge to 35% at 11:30pm will be in 10-9% at 8:50am.

Also, the change from having to swipe down to up to reveal control center on the watch, to have to click the side button for me it’s a tactic from Apple so people wear the button more and have to change the watch early because a problem with that, or at least with the ones like me who interact with that setting more, like turning the screen as flashing at night, etc. Wish they put a setting to change it like in safari for iOS 16 and the search bar, that was new or old.

Is there a way to disable swipe to reply in messages? I prefer to be able to swipe to go back to main message screen instead of reply.

You can do both.

Swipe from the left edge of the screen allows you to go back to the main screen.

Swiping on a message from the other person is the reply function.

I can easily swipe from the edge of the screen left of the message from the other person and it goes back to main screen.

On ios17 with my iPhone fast charging works fine but on iPadOS fast charging is not working on my iPad Pro 10.5. Takes over an hour longer to charge to 50% then before, using the same adapter. iPadOS 16 everything worked fine. Anybody else have this problem?

Ok my 14pro drained from 99% last night to 14% this morning while I left it connected to the MagSafe wireless charger on standby overnight.
I don’t know what else to do 😭

Well, a couple days after I said I had no urge to install iOS 17, I installed iOS 17 (shocker). I installed it about 14 hours ago, and my 14PM is getting very hot and draining battery quickly unless I have low power mode turned on. I hope this is just indexing that will go away soon.

And the question is…”What is a hard restart?”

;)

…or two…or three…

It’s really subtle, but yeah…raining here right now and small drops go down the info panes. Kewl.

While the animations and new look are nice, the predictions are wrong. One other thing I never liked about Weather is the precipitation map. It's always been blocky meaning a panel next to a panel doesn't load the loop animation. You need to zoom in and out and in and out for it load. Dark Sky was better.

Hmmm...I've always found them to be spot on where I have lived...but yeah, the radar map can drive me nuts for the exact reasons you give.

This has probably been discussed, but is anyone else having issues with podcasts? No matter what I play, this is the error I get.

You can start the stopwatch on iPhone and Watch with Siri, rather than just open the app. Woop woop.

1. was it definitely charging (as per battery report)?
2. was it processing your personal voice? That took about 2 days for me

I will only install Dev Beta once Public beta is available. Some of the stuff I do on phone is mission critical and I don’t want to miss imp calls or netbanking because I am using very early iOS 17 beta for kicks.

Godspeed to all of you who have the Dev Beta 1 install. You guys are really doing God’s work

I haven’t had any notable issues except turning on ‘Crossfade’ in the Music settings won’t let me access the Music settings anymore.

Also, while listening to the Music app with my AirPods Pro 2, the volume does not go up at all even with volume slider at max. Anybody having said issue? I also notice the volume slider slides back down on its own.
