Found a Safari bug in Beta 2. Private browsing no longer requires FaceID.
I am getting the Face ID prompt sometimes, I wonder they tweaked it so that it only appears after a certain time has passed since last unlock or when there are open private tabs. It looks like this is the case and you can test on your own by force closing Safari after fiddling around with private browsing.

Got the not enough storage space prompt on my 14Pro, too, even though I had 82gb of free space. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Edit: Got the prompt on my 14Pro but not on my XS Max even though they have roughly the same amount of available storage space.
That's interesting as my XS Max did not flag the free space issue either. It has just over 135 GB free, so it shouldn't have a problem btw, but odd newer phones are.

Yes, none of my 3rd party keyboards work in Messages. They do in other places though most of the time. I'm using SwiftKey now, but it won't work in Messages.

I'm using SwiftKey, too, and around 90% of the time, it works on both my 14Pro and XS Max. There are times though that it doesn't appear and the keyboard switches to system default but a hard reset fixes that problem.

This might have existed before, but if it did it never showed for me:

Sending an iMessage gives a pop-up saying that a sent message can be un-sent. I think it has an expiry - probably like the newish (and customisable) unsend option in Mail.
The feature has existed since iOS 16. But the popup is new (at least I've never seen it)

Don’t have to worry about that.
My new address uses APS (Arizona Public Service) - “APS gets roughly a quarter of its electricity from coal, a quarter from natural gas and a quarter from nuclear power”. I guess the other quarter is magic?

Didn’t see this mentioned…

Open a photo in messages, and then tap the “Tapback” icon on the bottom menu bar. Messages crashes.

Anyone else seeing this?

Phone on 17 beta 2.
AirPods on current stable firmware.

Since updating to beta 2, asking Siri via AirPods to turn on Noise Control settings requires unlocking the phone. No change following hard restarts. Unfortunate, as I was used to being able to swap between Noise Cancellation and Transparency via Siri when my hands were full.

Anyone else run into this issue?
