Open a photo in messages, and then tap the “Tapback” icon on the bottom menu bar. Messages crashes.

I am not seeing this. But in the course of researching it, I came across something interesting: I long pressed an image someone sent me from GIPHY and got the context menu which showed that it had been sent from GIPHY

I believe it’s supposed to charge to around 80% over nite then top off at 100% in time for your wake up alarm. That’s how mine 13 and 13 mini work

Safari seems to be rendering something wrong in beta 2. Dark mode on, only plug-in is AdGuard. All kinds of extra white outlines getting added. And solid white is now kind of gray. Example: store.steampowered.com

I think already mentioned, but wireless CarPlay constantly disconnects. Haven't tried the cable yet.

It’s working just fine on mine. Sometimes I find FaceID on Private Browsing annoying. But it’s just extra layer of security and privacy. 😣

I assumed it would lock instantly when you go to the standard browser tab

Yup. both Steam site and app are wonky in this beta. Steam app actually doesn’t not allow purchase in the app with beta 2.

Works for me. It’s after 5 minutes of the last unlock of the private browsing, from my rudimentary testing.

I am getting the Face ID prompt sometimes, I wonder they tweaked it so that it only appears after a certain time has passed since last unlock or when there are open private tabs. It looks like this is the case and you can test on your own by force closing Safari after fiddling around with private browsing.

Yeah. Looks like it locks after a certain time. I assumed it was instant.

When I log in to my Synology NAS my icons on the DSM desktop all look weird with white round them.

Anyone got this issue, doing it on my 12.9 iPad Pro M1 and a iPhone 14 Pro Max

Yup! Crashes every time on my 13 Pro

Seems like beta 2 has problem with png transparent image.

Probably related to the “scary” HDR images on Amazon. Seems like there is some sort of rendering problem occurring. Not scary, but obviously needs to be fixed.

Home app is having issues on my 14PM. Says there’s no home hub (I’m out of the house) and so not showing any statuses on any accessories.

Working just fine from my iPad.

I think he was being humorous about the effect of private browsing Safari on App Switcher.

I think it was in beta 1. Could be they’re trying out different timings, as maybe they feel Instant will be too intrusive.

Makes sense! I like the glass effect it does look cool and modern. Makes the safari tab fragile. Handle with care 🥸

Quite impressive for a beta 2 but needs a lot of refinement in a lot of areas like having to tap “Unlock” every time for Safari Private browsing.
Hopefully they fix the majority of them before the public release.

It’s not every time in Beta 2, it seems to be age 5 minutes of the last time it was unlocked.

You don’t want it longer, as what if someone borrowed your phone and went into Safari, when you don’t want them seeing what’s in private? X
