I’m having issues with app specific passwords but can’t tell if it’s caused by Safari on the Beta, is anyone else having issues?

What kind of data are you referring to? Are they just sucking it down from the internet somehow? Or are you not referring to data but to the memory occupied by the app’s code itself?

I believe they mean stored on the device, as I saw someone else say this in this thread already.

Probably just a hiccup somewhere, as don’t think it was happening in earlier betas. I’m guessing might be sorted in B6 or later, or maybe it’s something that the app devs will need to sort (tho guessing the former).

I’m a couple of betas behind on PB 3. Did anyone experience the camera losing focus and blurring on the regular photo setting in camera after using portrait mode for a bit?

Just curious if it was a thing in 3 but fixed in 4 etc.

That’s same beta as DB5, as PB1 came out with DB3

So when for example you use an app, it takes data/storage the more you use it. In iOS 16 for example instagram the data usage would increase but a very slow rate. Now it gets to 1gig in a matter of 24hrs. This happens with all 3rd party apps. Look at how all the apps are at over 1gig of usage and this is in a matter of a couple of days. This was never happening until I installed iOS 17

It’s just a side effect of the beta, it’s not dissimilar to the ‘other’ storage bug we saw in the current & last 3 x.0 betas.

I’d report it via Feedback app and expect it to be resolved by RC release. At least it’s now known in this thread, so anyone else seeing it know they’re not alone.

Though, seems like not many people, if any have actually mentioned this issue, so it doesn’t seem widespread.

The system storage for me is normal actually and didn’t have that bug. But this one is definitely new and didn’t experience it on iOS 16 betas at all. I have submitted a feedback and hopefully it’s fixed by RC release

I wasn’t saying this specifically wasn’t new. Just that it’s in the same vein as the system storage issue, and based on that, it’s likely to be resolve by RC. 🙂 was just trying to put some positivity out there on it.

I’ll see if it improves with beta 6 hopefully today.

It would be great if my phone/location services/HomeKit/the gremelins would stop forgetting that I’m home. Asleep. With my phone and watch on my charger. On the nightstand. Right next to me.

Because then I spend the next day being spammed on my watch, phone, and MBP with notifications that my cameras have detected a person that might be me.

Been trying the sleep tracking function between my AW Ultra (beta) and 13 ProMax (beta).
The AWU is definitely incorrectly reporting sleep duration.

Reported in Health (iP)
- Sunday night I did 6:30 sleep while the Health reported 10:15
- Monday night I did 7:45 sleep while the Health reported 6:06

I don't know if this is an AW setup or an iPhone setup.

I've always wondered how it's calculated. Is it according to your "scheduled" bedtime?

Scheduled only considered if you’re not wearing your Watch. If you’re wearing one then it’d be based on your heart rate and gyroscope/accelerometer readings.

Nope.
Sleep is captured by Apple Watch only if both conditions are satisfied: It is worn and the sleep duration falls in the period of sleep schedule configured in Health app. Sleep durations outside of sleep schedule do not get captured.
It also does not take naps into account. Only long sleeps will be captured.

Hopefully it does, but might not be until a later beta, or RC.

It’s depending on if many people have reported it, and if it’s something genuinely an issue with iOS 17 beta.

Also, I suspect it’s a reporting issue, rather than the app actually taking up the space

The response was to a post about capturing sleep at night during the schedule so that’s what I was referring to. I’m not going to recite the manual.

What do you mean reporting? Like it’s providing the wrong data usage?

For some, this is a great feature, but I definitely get what you are saying. The beauty of it, though, is: you don't need to use it. My thinking is that it's always better to have tools than not have them.

I cannot seem to get this to revert to a normal picture. It actually meant the subject on the right to the upper part of the picture was blurred with the effect. (I’ve manually blurred for obvious reasons.

I have an 8 hour sleep schedule.
How does this capture a 10+ hour sleep duration?
What am I missing?
