Edit: it self-resolved now and still shows PB2 as the current one, so PB3 will probably come later today or tomorrow.

Do a hard restart to clear that up.
Servers are busy so its not connecting properly.

They fixed the MP3 issue in music.

Gapless playback seems to be broken. Hearing slight gaps between tracks on MP3 live Albums.

it’s not coming until later, according to the iOS 17 feature preview page on Apple’s website. if i had to guess, it’ll probably come in 17.1 or 17.2 or something along those lines. i noticed they’ve been staggering out major features to later minor releases of iOS, especially after the initial release of iOS 16.

Three of my four HomePods updated to beta 5. The original HomePod doesn’t see beta 5. Couldn’t update to beta 4, stuck in a loop downloading finished downloading and started to download again...

Was able to update only to beta 3 on this HomePod.

Rebooted HomePod same issue.

Anyone else have this issue?

B5 hasn’t made anything worse yet.

Still not seeing screen distance work, despite being enabled in the menu. Unless there’s something else that needs to be active in order for it to work?

I suspect (based only on a hunch) it may be released with a 17.1 update in October. May see betas late September.

I am seeing a few issues with iCloud on this beta. iCloud storage doesn’t show anything and when selecting manage storage it says verification failed. Also, doesn’t appear in my case that iCloud Photos are syncing changes either.

edit: never mind on the storage, it just started resolving itself. Apple might be doing some tweaks on the backend. Will keep an eye on iCloud Photos.

It’s not coming with 17.0, so you can stop expecting to see it in a beta or the RC.

Apple announced it would be later this year, so will be 17.1 or 17.2 around November/December. Same as when they’ve said this about other features in previous years.

Even their preview page says later this year.

anyone have an issue with notifications not coming up when the screen is locked? I have my 14 pro max on a magnetic wireless charger locked, and previous to the betas the notifications would appear on my screen around the same time I would feel a vibration on my watch. Now I either have to touch the screen to get them to show up or just wait until they appear at some point later
