just got this “do more with iCloud” message.

BTW, my messages app says that I have 94.6 GB of iCloud storage used up. And when checking on it, it just states that only 17.42 GB is my Top Conversations.

When checking iPhone storage and messages app, it shows that only 3.13 GB is used up of my iPhone storage.

I’ve been having this discrepancy since beginning of beta 17.
I’ve had this issue since iOS 16, it’s never accurate for some reason

App Store- Check out the new, “UPDATE” button. It looks a lot bolder now. I like it. I like it Bold. ⚫️

Let's compare it to iOS 16 below:

Since dev beta 3... both my iPhone and iPad keeps reminding me to verify the recovery key for iCloud encryption, I type the key and the message disappears, but it keeps appearing again, in beta 3 was in matters of minutes, now in Beta 5 it is instantly, anyone else have the same issue?

Until this beta I have got it on a daily basis, now still don’t pop up but today with beta 4 it already did it.

I am seeing a few issues with iCloud on this beta. iCloud storage doesn’t show anything and when selecting manage storage it says verification failed. Also, doesn’t appear in my case that iCloud Photos are syncing changes either.

edit: never mind on the storage, it just started resolving itself. Apple might be doing some tweaks on the backend. Will keep an eye on iCloud Photos.
Re-indexing. Takes time to get all back to "normal".

First thing I noticed, all my deleted Phone Recents and Phone VM from the last week have been restored.
Sigh….

Using Mint Mobile (TMobile).
While having the update download, I manually deleted all voicemails as well as half of them from “recently deleted” tab. After the update, I did see a red circle next to the voicemail, however, it dissapeared right after selecting it and nothing being in the tab. Recently deleted voicemail tab also disappeared.

Update: Just checked and is back lol. 1 voicemail is available from 1 month ago and “deleted messages” is back with the left over messages.

After suffering from massive frame drops/stuttering on B4 on my 14PM since that came out on the homescreen and closing apps and no amount of reinstalling fixed it, B5 has fixed the issue.

UI in B5 is now super silky smooth and not a frame drop in sight 😁

With Beta 4, pretty much the only issue I had was that apps would crash randomly – not very often, but often enough for me to lose some data (this included the built-in Notes app).

Hopefully this is now resolved.

In general, I was thinking today that this year feels slightly different overall. Like betas have been quite stable and we haven’t been seeing much changes between the betas, as we have done in the past years. I guess this have made the beta testing period a bit less exciting, but it’s good to see a relatively polished release at lunch day. Similar experience with macOS.

it doesnt light up, but the "always on" screen used to put the notification on the screen pretty quickly on iOS 16
I'm experiencing the exact same thing as you! This was happening to me on b4 as well so I downgraded to b3 and it was working normally. Just updated back to b5 and the issue is back 😩 I usually see the notification pop up on the Lock Screen but it is reallllly small! Watch doesn't vibrate. If you tap the phone screen, the notification grows to normal size but still never makes it way to the watch.

yea its weird. I think it just behaved normally on the last notification I got a couple minutes ago too, so Ill have to pay attention more today. I only notice it when Im sitting at my desk and the phone is on the charger, but thats when I'd rather glance at my phone over picking up my wrist to look at my watch.

I notice it only happens with Messages notifications. Notifications from any other app seem to work fine.
