Just started downloading Sonoma update

They're most likely still identifying weird edge cases specific to the 15 models (new CPUs/GPUs, cameras, and other architectural changes = new problems) which needed a couple of extra builds to straighten out.

Yeah that could very well be the case. No probs. I’ll wait for 17.1.1.

Apple doesn't usually release the next beta seeds on the same day it issues a complete suite of public OS updates.

Likely any day up to a week from now.
