still not seeing sleep apnea support :(

Edit: Crossing my fingers watchOS 11.1 beta 2 will add it 🤞
I doubt it as watchos 11.0 with ios 18.0 do sleep apnea. But , post an update if watchos beta does indeed enable sleep apnea. 👌

You can reset Control Center to defaults in its settings.
Indeed. Pretty neat.

I can see a sleep apnea notifications info panel I don’t recall if it was in beta 4. But the function itself doesn’t appear for me

There’s now an Apple Intelligence button in Notes that when you tap it. It launches Writing Tools.

It shows on the top toolbar on iPad (See screenshot below) and the bottom toolbar on iPhone.

Only works however if you have text selected. So it’s really just a shortcut to the same tools you’d get with the context menu. But much easier to access.

Am I the only one thinking Apple Intelligence is still a concept? when I compare what I see versus ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, it looks that Apple is really, really behind, years behind, not even months
I don’t think even the biggest apple fan boys would disagree with this statement. I am a huge fan boy and i know as well as most know, they are VERY far behind the competition. We shall see where things stand when 18.4 + is around middle of 2025, etc.

Check back inout a year or two and let’s have this same conversation again once the flash in a pan features that no one uses on those other platforms are forgotten.

I wouldn't say a concept, but, as a software engineer, I find lots of the AI features in most software products being rather "gimmicks".

Time will tell, so far I only find the Apple Intelligence stuff useful for the notifications summary.

But, I think the intention has always been that this is just the beginning and that Apple will be trying to find more and more use cases in the upcoming months and years. So only one way to find out how much it actually changes the overall experience... 🕦

Behind how, exactly?

The difference between Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT, Claude, and their contemporaries is that Apple's is not conversational. Apple Intelligence appears to prioritize being useful rather than chatty. For example, with the full implementation of Apple Intelligence, I could ask Siri for the playlist my SO sent me the other day. Siri would know what I'm talking about and dig up that information for me.

Meanwhile, ChatGPT is telling me how to use Search in Messages. I don't want instructions on how to do something - I want the machine to do it for me.
