This was Apple Intelligence’s attempt to summarize baseball tweets. People following the postseason will know what’s wrong with this

Summaries have been good for the most part, but it has it’s moments.

They do particularly badly when attempting to summarize grouped notifications. I’d bet that somewhere in that stack you still have an X notification about a Yanks / Red Sox series from earlier in the year. But the AI needs to figure out that old stuff is not relevant.

Unpopular opinion? I’m going to suggest that the stutters are likely due to the configuration of apps installed on a device. I’d recommend a clean install, don’t install any apps and see if they exist 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe. If there was no stutter previously and now there is a stutter, if it is being caused by an app you have been using, going the install one at a time route to confirm is a waste unless you are on RC. If you go that route I would recommend only checking the intensive apps. IMO, having an app cause this is an uncommon issue.

JMPO ;)

I’ve experienced .some missing notifications for both neato and Lightwave apps. I turned off the notification summary option for both apps yesterday and this morning I received notifications from both apps as expected. I’ll keep an eye on this and get a bug report filed.

I'm assuming I'm not the only one with a screen glitch on the 16 Pro Max right? Where vertical lines appear on the screen briefly every so often. I'm hoping it's the beta and not a hardware issue.

Almost certainly a hardware issue

After a few days with beta 6 on my 16 Pro Max I can say the experience has been 99% excellent.

The only minor issue I have had is that sometimes a message notification does not appear on my Apple Watch 9 which is also running the latest beta.

That’s probably an issue with the Watch beta so can’t blame iOS really.

I’m happy to have the beta on my phone - it feels good. Also glad to have all the phone optimisations completed after installation as my phone is finally getting really great battery and is very cool in operation.

CarPlay has the odd crash on my Audi A3 but I’ve kind of trained myself to live with that kind of thing. Haven’t had 100% solid CarPlay for a few years I think - multiple phones and cars. No biggie - Apple are just a bit s**t at integrating with other systems.

Seeing an issue on both the 15 ProMax and iPad Pro 11 M4.

After using several apps, launching an entertainment app like Peacok, Paramount, or others, the app will frequently crash. Through trial and error, I found if I clear out the app manager, the original app launches with no issue.

Ran into this a number of times this weekend watching various races and a couple of college FB games.

This happened to me today, too. Even after a restart it would charge beyond the limit so I suspect this could be a bug.
OK, so it looks like this is by design. My phone has gone back to charging to the set limit.

With 80% Limit enabled, your iPhone will occasionally charge to 100 per cent to maintain accurate battery state-of-charge estimates.

Can’t say for 18.0 and 18.0.1 but I’m managing to get 7-8 hours SOT on my 14 pro with 84% health.
Have to say, 18.1 beta 6‘s battery life has been amazing on my 15PM, granted I have 100% battery health and I can barely get the battery to drain to around 30%.

I have been experiencing the same thing. Hoping as well that it is the beta software causing the rare glitch.
