My 15PM is doing some weird stuff last few days. The battery % doesn’t drop while in use, lock and it leave it for a few mins and then it’s dropped 3% in one jump when I start using it again.
Yup---the first week was great now my battery drains like crazy when the screen is off...

My iPhone is very good, but my Apple Watch S8 is kinda bad battery after I downloaded 18.1 - the RC was great, but the newer version is not that great…

Anyone else’s Music widget constantly breaking? The “Now Playing” part is fine, but the “Recently Played” section constantly glitches.

18.1 seems to have made the App Library look nicer than 18.0.1, even if as others have mentioned things are oversaturated. The margins and spacing is better. Still not going to use App Library, because I don’t like how it categorises things. Also wallpaper is blurred for it which makes much more sense.

Keyboard lag seems to have been fixed for me after 18.1 update. Notes app was always the most noticeable, but now seems back to normal

Also I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this, but the playback controls can’t be dismissed when watching a music video in full screen in Apple Music. Obviously completely ruins music videos.

The App Library on my iPad is showing badge numbers on folders where none of the apps within have badges. Most of these I’ve disabled showing badges on the apps, but even opening up all the apps doesn’t get rid of the badges on the folders.

I’m on iOS 18.1 iPhone 15 Pro Max
I noticed my screen brightness slighty flashing (almost in dark background) in all apps.
I used this iPhone for 9 months and this issue occurred after iOS 18.1. no physical damaged.
anyone has this issue too?

I’m loving iOS 18.1 on my SE 3. Great battery life, smooth performance (I’d dare to say smoother than iOS 17), the smartphone is quick and snappy…

My only two complaints are that 1) I was expecting that on the recent calls, I would no longer make accidental calls because I though that now you had to touch a button on the right side to return the call. Turns out this is not implemented in iOS 18.2. And 2) on my SE 3, the Control Center looks smaller than it should be:

If anyone knows a solution to any of those two issues, I’d be thankful!

But other than that, I’m so happy with iOS 18.1 that I’ll probably install it on my other devices during the next few days.

The control center you have to manually add things.

And the other problem with calling because missclicked, it’s sadly gone, it was there in the beta but somehow they removed it again sadly …

Damn! Let’s hope they reintroduce it at some point. Do you know if it’s there again on the latest iOS 18.2 beta?

Anybody else get this bug? I also posted this in my own initial thread in regards to bugs I was noticingView attachment 2453626
You mean the squared notifications? Oh, that’s already a classic bug. It’s been there since iOS 16 I think.

I guess that, at this point, it is almost part of the UI.

By the way, this seems limited to more modern iPhone designs, because I’ve never experienced this either in my old iPhone 8 or my current SE 3.

Yeah I’ve had this bug for years myself. I was only able to grab a picture of it only recently since it’s so fleeting.

However, I am realizing there’s a ton of interface glitching and overall visual bugs with iOS 18

Well I’m happy to report that finally all my devices are running either iOS/iPadOS 18.1 or macOS 15.1. Soon I’ll reflect it on my signature.

This is the first time I update so early in the cycle and on my devices (A15, M2 and M4) the latest version runs smooth and efficiently. Crossing fingers for 18.2 & 15.2 to run as well (if not better) and as efficiently 🤞🏻
