My 15PM is doing some weird stuff last few days. The battery % doesn’t drop while in use, lock and it leave it for a few mins and then it’s dropped 3% in one jump when I start using it again.
None on my 16PM on 18.1.I think this is affecting 16 pro models.
The RC build of 18.1 seemed better for battery life on my iPhone 15 Pro. I used the ipsw to update from RC to final build. Rebooted multiple times.
My apologizes. I meant as in I manually rebooted a few times to see if it was just something stuck running in the background. I updated to iOS 18.2 beta 1, so far isn’t draining as quick, but too soon to be 100% sure.As in unexpected reboots?
It only syncs when it’s plugged in.Swapped over to my new iP16 PM yesterday and have noticed that my iMessages app is stuck “syncing with iCloud” - the app says paused (at the bottom). My iPad on 18.2 beta 1 is fine.
I have turned off and on messages in the cloud but not joy.
Any one else?
It only syncs when it’s plugged in.
Sometimes when there’s other background processes straining the processor it takes a while for the syncing to resume again even when plugged in.It wasn’t doing it then either (sorry should have said) - it seems, however, to be syncing again now…

I usually just leave it plugged in and locked and it resumes in a few mins.
If it's a new phone, seek a replacement immediately as it's often due to a faulty module.Anyone getting bluetooth lag/stuttering to non-apple devices (in my case, a Tesla) with Apple Music streaming? Seems like it keeps happening, even after restarting the device..

Yeah they did applied this in a beta of 18.0 - first it was also seen in recent calls, but they (sadly) changed it back…Don’t know if anyone ever mentioned this, but if you press search on recent calls section, the call button goes on the right side.

Honestly, I don’t think I would be able to tell the difference between charging at 20W with the standard Apple USB-C charger, or 25W…I dunno if its just me but I noticed my 16 pro max with the new 25w MagSafe puck and 30w apple charger is not charging fast at all, its like the old speed, the usb c is much faster, I think with iOS 18 it was faster but with 18.1 it seems much slower, its deff not charging at 25w, what do you all think
It’s not the fact the usb 20w is fast and the 25w new MagSafe is same speed like 15w as before I’m not seeing the same speed wired vs wireless when it should be nowHonestly, I don’t think I would be able to tell the difference between charging at 20W with the standard Apple USB-C charger, or 25W…
Ask Apple maybe ?It’s not the fact the usb 20w is fast and the 25w new MagSafe is same speed like 15w as before I’m not seeing the same speed wired vs wireless when it should be now
