can’t seem to access visual intelligence…am i missing something? (iphone 16pm)

I hope 18.2 isn’t just about AI and nothing else. I have a feeling the whole iOS 18 train will just be adding AI and no other new features. For someone like me that doesn’t care about AI it’s gonna be a boring update cycle lol all the teams are just focused on AI.

Problem is with Apple new features = new bugs…iOS 18 is already buggy enough (Apple music is almost unusable for my part) , if they could fix those before adding new stuff that would be great

A thought occurs to me. What's the point of the waitlist if the image generation is all on-device? Not like a bunch of users will be hitting a premature AI server or something.

I suspect that during the betas it’s not all being done on device.

Sweet. I no longer need the Mail app to change my default email app.

IPSW installers
Don't forget to download the latest Xcode and use the mobiledevice.pkg from the resources folder, so your phone syncs smoothly and doesn't fail on install.

• Restart your Mac
• Quit all apps and restart your iPhone
• Do an encrypted full back up to Mac

I religiously do as good house keeping.

I was wondering the same thing, but it should be coming to iPad considering Apple is showing it on the iPad mini product page.
Wondering if something is wrong with the iPadOS 18.2 beta as I still don't see an IPSW for the M4 iPad Pro's.

I'm in the EU, no new mail app for me.
I don’t know why it’s not in the EU, but it doesn’t require Apple Intelligence.

In addition to that I can disable AI and still get the categories, you can also check Apple’s own iOS 18 new feature .pdf document, and the mail categories are not listed with the Apple Intelligence features.
