Tried it both ways. Same as 18.1 beta. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Hell, I verified twice I was on 18.2 B2 because I don’t have image playground either.
Was able to download image playground from the App Store. It said I’d downloaded it before, which is odd, but at least I have it now.

I’d searched yesterday and couldn’t find it in the store. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Is anyone else unable to stop getting iOS 18 betas, even after turning off the betas?
I have turned the betas off, but each time a new beta is released, I am getting a prompt to install it.
Surely, it didn't work like that during the previous years?
Is there a solution to this?
If I restore the device will it go away or am I stuck with this problem?
Maybe this device is marked on Apple's server as a beta device, no matter what I select in the settings?
Still, it doesn't make any sense...

Anyone else having issues with their iPhone 16 Pro disconnecting from WiFi? Even if I turn WiFi off and on again I can’t join my home WiFi.

I’ve tried rebooting, forgetting the network and joining again - zero luck.

My WiFi isn’t the issue, the wife’s iPhone 15 Pro is connected to the WiFi and working just fine.

Might have to downgrade back to 18.1 smh

Mail is still mucked up.
The individual accounts are correct however the Inbox total is waaayyyyy off.
If I refresh the screen manually it corrects itself.
See attached - actual is 169.

Installed (from 18.1) and running well on my iPhone 11.

Only difference I've found is Mail Categories, and I've immediately switched back to List view as I don't care to have my mails categorised automatically. Obviously, I don't get any of the AI stuff but for those of us with phones cheaper/older than the iPhone 15 Pro, this upgrade is still worth doing just to stay nicely up to date.
This is why my unread mail count was off. It was set to these stupid categories which showed 5 unread but the true count was like 13. It’s taken me since the release of b1 until yesterday what the problem was. List View it is!

I noticed this Unread count issue too after updating and turned off categories but upon further investigation if you go into Mail settings then notifications there is a new section called Customise Notifications. In there change to All Unread Messages and the correct total will appear

I have the same situation, in a way. I’m on the current general release of 18.1 on both my phone and ipad. I still have beta updates enabled and both devices have the notification that 18.2 is available. I’m ignoring that for now. The initial 18.2 release just had too many complaints for me to bother with it, and I’m not certain that this second release is much better, yet; still waiting for more feedback.

In the past, when I wanted to stop beta updates, I toggled off the setting but then had to restart the device to clear the notifications. So if you haven’t yet restarted, try that. I also have automatic updates enabled on both devices, but oddly, 18.2 was downloaded to my phone but not my iPad. I deleted the download from iPhone storage and then turned off beta updates, and the 18.2 notification disappeared, and software update says I’m up to date on 18.1. That happened without me restarting the phone. I’m waiting a little bit but will probably do the same on my iPad, but since the software was not downloaded, I’ll not need to go through that step.

Thank you for your reply, I tried to restart and unfortunately, I still get the prompt to update :(
But I'm glad it worked for you!

I wonder though if something changed this year, because I don't recall having this issue on iOS 17 beta cycle...
At least I hope that it will stop when iOS 19 betas start being released, if I don't enter the iOS 19 beta cycle!

Unfortunately no, it's not downloaded...

After installing the first official 18.0 update and having decided that I was done with the betas until next year, I turned the betas off, but then a couple of days later, a beta got automatically downloaded on my phone and notified me that it would install later in the night.

After that incident, I went to delete the download and turned off automatic updates, along with the betas that were already off.

So now, the betas don't download automatically anymore, but the prompts to download them remain...
Did you restart your phone after turning off beta updates?

Still worth giving your router a reboot as it may let others devices still connect

Yea that’s been there for a good while though. That didn’t affect me.

Apple is just toying with me. Got the push that I was in for Image Playground.

Went to use it and it said I was on the wait list still.

There's also something new, or maybe just something I didn't notice previously, regarding Mail notifications.

After setting my view to List, the new-mail badge was still wrong until I changed the setting (screenshot) to "All Unread Messages" as it had defaulted to the option "Primary ...".

Did you restart your phone after turning off beta updates?

Yes, I have! Actually, it has been restarted more than once, because I have the betas updates turned off since the first official 18.0 and there have been more official updates in between (18.0.1, etc), up until the last 18.1 that I currently am on!
So each time I install one of the updates, the phone gets restarted and I tend to restart it manually once or twice after each update is done...

I did an experiment and logged out from my Apple ID account on my device, restarted it and I still get the prompt to install the 18.2 beta 2, with the beta option off!
