Well the release candidate did not fix my iMessage issues. Apple is going to have some issues for sure if they think they can push this out.

That has been the issue with iOS lately - inconsistent updates. Hoping RC fixes a bit more. Some of these bugs, especially ones that have been around for a while, can be annoying at best.

Just recently bought an iPad Mini 7 and the Auto refine handwriting feature says it will download when connected to WiFi…. Well it is connected to WiFi and nothing happens. Tried restarting and connecting to other WiFi and hotspot. Anyone experience this?
I have the same problem on latest iPad Pro 13". Was told it was a known bug. Just installed latest public beta of 18.2 and the problem persists.

It started doing the keyboard thing quite a bit last night. Got fed up and restored it back down to 18.1.1. It will be a while before I get it set back up how it was before, but so far no keyboard glitches. We'll see about the home screen apps. I think no more betas for me. I think the betas might introduce problems that then aren't necessarily solved by updating to the public release. Whereas maybe staying public to public might keep the issues away.
Well, I made it almost a week…and my keyboard is now disappearing again. I was skeptical about doing the restore and now here we are.

Here it is acting up in Messenger:

I also have another issue that I have forgotten to mention but it’s been here since iOS 18. Randomly, clicking on the search bar in Safari to go somewhere else will not pull up any of my favorites. It will leave me the ability to type but I can’t get to any favorites until I quit Safari and open it again.

Example:

Anddddd now my Home Screen is doing the exact same glitch as before as well. On 18.2 release. So officially, restoring my phone did absolutely nothing except cause headache and a bunch of work, as expected.
