Ah ok. Still seems like if you can get it via cellular and at home then it should point to something on that network. I know our guys remove the Apple mail app from work phones and block even personal gmail (not outlook.com email) on Apple Mail app on personal phones but not on Gmail app. Weird I know. Hope you/they get it sorted. Do report back when it is.

So just an update. IT is still researching, but there are not finding anything. I had a coworker get on her 14 PM and had no issues with her email connecting. This is one of the weirdest bugs I have seen. I am getting more confident it's an iOS thing and not a work Wifi. Anyways the new official 18.2 release did not fix anything.

This is such an OCD thing to pick up on (I’m genuinely diagnosed with OCD, so I can say that), but has anyone noticed the Apple logo and progress bar were smaller when updating?

I totally noticed that, too. Only on my M1 MBP, not my Intel Mac mini...
