Ah ok. Still seems like if you can get it via cellular and at home then it should point to something on that network. I know our guys remove the Apple mail app from work phones and block even personal gmail (not outlook.com email) on Apple Mail app on personal phones but not on Gmail app. Weird I know. :) Hope you/they get it sorted. Do report back when it is.
So just an update. IT is still researching, but there are not finding anything. I had a coworker get on her 14 PM and had no issues with her email connecting. This is one of the weirdest bugs I have seen. I am getting more confident it's an iOS thing and not a work Wifi. Anyways the new official 18.2 release did not fix anything.

This is such an OCD thing to pick up on (I’m genuinely diagnosed with OCD, so I can say that), but has anyone noticed the Apple logo and progress bar were smaller when updating?

I totally noticed that, too. Only on my M1 MBP, not my Intel Mac mini...

I'm still getting the issue with Siri when I ask to do something home automated for a future time like "turn off the lights in 10 minutes" it won't be able to do it and replies with: Automations must be set at least one minute out. But that's precisely what I'm doing.

Anyone else ? Any ideas ?
Happens on both phone & watch.
This worked fine before this so called 18.2 'update'. It has brought nothing but problems. You can no longer turn off any accessory in x number of minutes - it stupidly either turns it off immediately or gives the "automations must be set at least one minute out" crap. I am waiting for an Apple 'engineer' to come back to me on Boxing Day to explain why they bollixed it up. I used to use this feature every night for a 'sleep mode' that would turn the grouped accessories (TV, Blu-Ray, AVR and Sub) off by just saying "Siri, turn the 'Mains' off in 60 minutes" but this is broken in 18.2. Utterly useless - I'm so done with Apple.

Mail still broken for me. Opening a notification just takes me to the main inbox and freezes. After almost 10 seconds, it finally lets me click on the email to read it. The expected behavior is tapping the notification and it goes straight to the email itself, not the inbox.

Also, some emails get stuck on downloading when replying to it. 16 PM.
Mine still does this all the way through to 18.3. Were you ever able to resolve?
