Email still broken. When tapping an email notification, the expected result is going straight to the email. Actual result is it goes to the inbox and freezes. Wait a few seconds, then you can look at the email. It wasn't like this in 18.0, but I also don't remember when it broke. 16 Pro Max

Only if the released build is not the same as the build released today as the Release Candidate. If they are the same, there is no reason for Apple to update it.

I think that might be the hardware defect of some of the 16P screens (touch). You should have it replaced if you still can

I have this since the iPhone 6s Plus. I’ve had the XS Max and 13 Pro Max later and now the same lag issues with 16 Pro Max.

If this still isn't fixing the stutters on this damn iPhone 16 PM I'm about to ask Apple for a refund on these POS devices. Seriously, how much time do you need to make these crappy things work correctly. I have even gone to the length of full restores on these devices and loaded a fresh copy of 18.2 on to them so I can attest that the installation is fresh and it's a clean pull.

Samsung is having their event here shortly and the fold is also enticing given the ****** level of quality I am seeing with Apple. Very disappointed and wish Tim Cook would get canned already.

BiL has the S25 Fold, it's impressive. Can't argue with what it can do and how much they have done to improve stability to the point I see a lot of people using them now. Apple is getting stale and this year's software just plain is a bore for what little it has offered since it was announced. Lots of bugs even from watching the video with Zollotech on YouTube.

Strange. I cannot replicate this bug. It works ok for me.

Do you have the mail app contact photos and category view enabled? If so, can you test with both of them disabled?

I hear you. If it wasn’t for iMessage, I would’ve switched to Pixel a long time ago. My 16 Plus has constant typing delays. Not sure if because I have the double languages enabled on a single keyboard.

Man, you must have a particular and intense usage of your iPhone… I really couldn’t see any stutters in normal usage (to be fair, not right after updating - when I remind having some hiccups)

I see them myself in day to day usage on an iPhone 16 Pro with a fresh install as new of iOS 18.3 beta via the ipsw.

At times, iOS 18.x acts as if low power mode is enabled and the stutter fest that is.

Granted, iOS 18.3 beta 2/3 and the RC are better, there are still stutters and dropped frames in certain repeatable cases.
