So far, the first beta of iOS 15.4 is running quite well on my iPhone 15 Pro. The battery was relatively warm for a while, but that has settled down now. Let's see how it performs in the coming days.
@Pearsey rightly said..beta train is unpredictable !!Guys, your battery is never going to be as good as an Official release build. There is so much more going on in betas with unfinished code, bugs and over processing being used it’s going to take a toll somewhere.
RC will be a good indicator of battery life. No point in worrying about it or moaning about it now - if it bothers you that much then betas aren’t for you.

My safari crashed randomly, but seems pretty smooth other than that. I’ve had a ton of scrolling lag/stuttering on my 16pm pre 18.4b1, but so far so good. The screen flicker/lines in screen flickering is still here.
It's really looking like the new Siri capabilities have been pushed back to 18.5, huh.
I'm in Italy and get a message that Image Playground will appear after downloading. Waiting for that to happen.Anyone else having image playground missing in the EU?
I updated via ipsw, we’ll see. My iPhone 16 PM has been so laggy on iOS 18.3 I swapped back to my 15 PM.Hard restart or reinstall the beta.
Instructions pinned to the first page. 👍🏼
Same here. That’s the only reason I can think that they kept the two parts of it separated instead of one solid cutout. Really hoping in a future build they revert it.Yup. I thought displaying it in the island was a great use of some of that dead space.
Notifications (banner) are not working - even after a hard reboot, only Lock Screen and Notification Center are showing
I constantly read this but I don’t think there’s ever been anything clearly indicating this or solid proof. I’ve had betas with battery life as good or better as released builds, as well as betas with crappy battery life.Guys, your battery is never going to be as good as an Official release build. OTA Update on both
Not seeing any functionality changes - same issues with badge vs auto update vs manual refresh - same ol’
Can now click on a Notification and it opens the actual email - nice

Podcasts
Banner notifications are finally working again however they get stuck and don’t go away unless swiped manually
Widgets - 15PM only
Borked my widgets.
Weawow Weather shows some funky language/symbol thingy
Outlook Calendar always shows “All done for today” even though I have upcoming appointments
Hard reboot and replacing widgets did not fix (see below)
Safari - iPad Only
Long lists in a tab stutter.
More to come as I get time. So far everything else I have tried is the same as 18.3.1
