Ouch. I am getting 1080p on wifi, though it sometimes take 5-10 seconds for it to auto choose that.
Disconnected wifi and I dropped too 240p instantly. And my 5G is faster than my work wifi for sure.

That’s the same with me, I have great mesh Wi-Fi coverage in the house and it YouTube premium.
Only started with me at 18.4 betas, could be YouTube and just coincidence with the betas 🤷.
But it is not due to cellular or bandwidth issues.
Haven’t installed yet but did this beta fix the iCloud mail push delays? When I get emails they don’t get pushed until an hour and sometimes longer for iCloud unless I refresh the mail app. This started with beta 3.
I finally just turned it off. Not worth the extra battery or chip cycles. Image Playground is garbage. I have my genmojis saved. Siri is garbage without ChatGTP and, at this point, I'd rather just use the Ask Alexa app. Get answers much faster! All just crap until they figure out how to enhance / replace Siri.

New Siri animation is nice.
I don’t think there is a lot more cpu usage when you don’t really use the new features.
Outside of it suggesting things below my texts, it is not doing anything without my prompting that I am aware of. And not using any battery as far as I can tell. I turned off all the notification summaries and priority stuff.
I'll test for a few days without and then with. I know the phone will need at least a day to stabilize. Might not get a good test before the next update, but I'll try.
I do like the new Siri animation, but I've found it harder to see when it's bright outside.
In the first two betas, I could report SMS messages from numbers I didn't have saved in my address book as spam, but in betas 3 and 4, this option disappeared. I don't understand why Apple doesn't include a spam filtering system for both calls and messages. On top of that, the limited functionality it has doesn't always work, nor does it work for everyone, from what I can see.
I think it has been generally accepted that it's not the beta, but a Youtube issue..
Email definitely fixed, updated and then my watch suddenly got 3 email notifications straight away.
Had an issue in Beta 3 where I could not copy the phone number from Phone > Recents.
Is fixed in Beta 4.

YouTube / YouTube TV issue still exists in beta 4 for me on 15PM and iPad Pro11. Not sure what the issue driver is.

Was In-App Web Browsing in location services a thing before? I just found it was turned on and I know for a fact I didn't turn it on or remember even seeing it.
I’m on 18.3.2 and it’s there, but hadn’t ever noticed before.
My pet peeve bug has been fixed - saving of locations in watched items in the TV app is working again! Hurray!
Oh, and I'm a youtube premium user, and on the ipad version of the youtube app, over wifi, I'm not seeing any issues with video quality - it's working as well as it ever has.
