All the different updates of ios18, I’ve had stickers turned off in keyboard settings, but stickers still appear in the emoji keyboard.

Almost 8 months later, 18.5 still hasn’t fixed it.

At this point I don’t really care that much, but it’s also possible that it’s really really pissing me off but some self-preservation part of my mind is concealing the rage from my conscious awareness.. like how hard is it to hide the stickers when I have them disabled. It used to work that way.

Do they just not care?
This seems like it’s intended!
This sucks and I dislike it too, but I think you have to live with it, because it won’t go away and it’s not a bug, it’s a „feature“ 😬

Still no fix for Game Mode which is a shame. It's been broken since 18.4. Have submitted feedback but no joy yet.

Updated to 18.5. I'm sitting at work at the computer, before the update the phone on the table held 3 bars of the LTE network. After the update it only catches 1 bar of the LTE network. So far this is the only thing that catches the eye. In general, my iPhone 11 has become much worse at catching a cellular network signal with this update. Is this a deliberate downgrade so that people buy a new iPhone 16e or newer?

UPD: The phone began to heat up in the area of the power button, and the network changes between 4 bars of 3G and 1 bar of LTE. This is clearly happening because of the update.

Anyone else’s device heating up with increased battery drain while using the photos app? Possibly indexing etc after update?

Photos is the top battery consumer atm

This update doesn’t feel any different to the last iOS update on my 16 Pro Max. Performance, functionality and battery life all feel about the same.

I’m happy with this result as my iPhone is performing well for me and has been for over 6 months.

Rebooted the phone. The network is also very badly loit LTE (1 division) and almost nothing loads, even messages are sent very slowly. This update broke the cellular network of my iPhone!

Another data point:

18.5 running smoothy on my 15PM. No problems so far.

Battery life on the RC was very good. Optimistic that will be true for the public release build from yesterday.

Anyone knows if 18.5 fixes the issue with Ambient Music playlists randomly pausing or getting stuck?

Consider yourself lucky. I’ve been seeing this for years. Just listened to this full album a couple of weeks ago and as of this week, track #2 (and ONLY that track) is no longer available in my region.

I noticed half of the Pink Floyd Pulse album was not available in my region on my playlist. But going to the album itself, it was there and available. To fix that, I deleted each song from the library. Then they worked in my playlist. I could then add back to the library. This first happened to one of my purchased songs several years ago. Apple couldn't figure it out, so they gave me 2 free songs, so I could replace the one didn't work.

Iphone notifications keep turning itself off on my mac. I updated yesterday and had to do a restart of my mac so I'm not sure which is the culprit. But it's annoying.

Let it settle a while after such an update. Doesn’t make sense to catch all this possible issues so quickly after an update.
Let it rest for a bit, restart the phone, charge it and then see if there are any huge flaws still happening.

Anyone else have the problem with editing dots in the memory movies in photos app?

I had very similar results updating my iPhone 13 a couple of updates ago. It lasted several hours and after a network reset and a couple of reboots it seemed to clear up on its own. Hopefully yours will too

Not fixed for me either - utter garbage from crApple!

For me, their software gets genuinely more holistically unreliable year on year!
I did all the things. Toggle Siri, search, iMessage and the things to do in iCloud including signing in and out and I can say… don’t waste your time doing this. It makes no difference. The issue remains for me. And all pictures I send to contacts do not show up in iMessage photo gallery. Spoke to Apple support today about this and the syncing issue. Tech said that I should save to photos anything I send to contacts via iMessage or scroll back in the text thread. No! That’s not a solution for their bug. On the syncing issue, he said he’ll send it to engineering. We know what that’s means. The black hole where nothing is solved
