When I try to save a memory as a video, I see the three-dot icons next to the speaker, but pressing any of these two buttons does absolutely nothing. It's as if the screen were dead at that point. I have to close the photos app several times until it randomly pops up the memory options menu so I can export it.

By the way, there's a lot of AI to create memories, but when you save them as videos to share with the people in them, they save them with quality comparable to a 2013 phone. The result is terrible: video at 30fps, and the videos included in the memory are jerky.

I love how MacRumor optimistically names these threads "Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements" but it's always mostly "Complaints, Criticisms, and Disappointments."
Only MacRumors didn't name this thread, a user started it a long time ago and it just kept.

I prefer your title better!

Has anyone had any issues with playback in Music on CarPlay? On the RC I got a consistent stutter after nine seconds on each track that was noticeable. Haven't gotten a chance to check yet..

Same been seeing this for years as well where songs in my library just randomly become “unavailable in your region” and take months before becoming available again.
More than likely a copyright issue is raised concerning lyrics, etc., so an injunction is placed on the song(s) while it is worked out. Streaming platforms are informed and must pull the affected music

I keep getting a new Apple Watch has been added to your account, I checked my devices, there is no Apple Watch in my devices other than the one I am wearing!?

I had very similar results updating my iPhone 13 a couple of updates ago. It lasted several hours and after a network reset and a couple of reboots it seemed to clear up on its own. Hopefully yours will too
Simply turning off/on and rebooting did not help. I did a firmware update via PC with saving data, after a couple of hours the network worked normally. This is the first time I encountered such behavior after an update.

I have been on day 2. So far so good (it feels a bit slower than 18.4.1 - but I might be wrong). All device connect faster to airplay (I use Sonos) - it’s almost instantaneous now (previously it took 1-2 second).

Consider yourself lucky. I’ve been seeing this for years. Just listened to this full album a couple of weeks ago and as of this week, track #2 (and ONLY that track) is no longer available in my region.
This was part of the reason I switched back to buying music. Streaming any song also means finding out songs you like will randomly become unavailable.

I reinstalled the system using the ipsw file, and it didn't solve any of my problems. At least on the RC, I didn't have the icon problem; it appeared in the official release. Apple is like a car mechanic: they fix one error and create another haha

I updated from RC 1 and it broke the phone app icon. It appears, but when I open the app, during the animation it loses the icon, showing the same icon when it can't find it or it's not there. The same thing happens during the closing animation, and the icon doesn't appear until it finishes. Restarting again doesn't help. I've noticed that it only happens with icons in dark mode; this problem doesn't exist with light mode.
I wonder if you’re the only one with this bug… what model do you have? To see if others with your same iPhone experience this like you. Does it happen only to the phone app?

With my AirPods Pro 2 asking Siri “when was this song released” when I’m obviously playing a track from Apple Music, it now sends me through to ChatGPT which then asks me for which song am I referring to. It has been like this for the last few releases but until then, always worked.

Asking on my phone or HomePod works.

Can anyone else confirm this please?

I have an iPhone 15 Pro, and even after updating with the ipsw file, the problem persists. It only happens if the icons are in dark mode; everything is fine in light mode. It's as if the icons are missing from the opening and closing animation of the Phone app. Yes, it only happens with the Phone app, but I use it a lot, and the fact that it goes without an icon for a second while it does the closing animation is very strange.

Strange and unacceptable for an iPhone that costs more than a thousand bucks.

Things are settling down & battery life is improving on my 16e into the second day since installing. Performance is good, seems about the same as the RC version.

It happens with purchased music too. I am not allowed to play a track anymore that I bought years ago and have listened to countless times. 😡
I back up my purchases and sync from desktop. I’ve had issues when I download directly through iOS iTunes Store. It’s like Apple treats them as Apple Music downloads, and I’ve also had it not allow me to download purchases but I can play (stream) it. There’s so many bugs with their Music app. Can’t say I’ve hit your issue though.

I have exactly the opposite. Yesterday the battery consumption was low, and today with the same usage scenario the consumption has increased significantly, the charge percentage is melting before our eyes.

Try to fiddle around with light/dark mode (which you already did), custom theme colors, and rebooting in between. Like: make the icons light, reboot. Make them dark, reboot. Change to some other color, reboot. Until at some point it maybe "unsticks" itself.

Also, can you maybe remove and readd thephone app from the Home Screen?

It's annoying to have to do such stuff as it should just work out of the box, but still, maybe it's worth a shot.
