The bugs I’m reading about here all sound like the type of random ones I’d expect on regular iOS builds. A lot seem sporadic and a bit like edge cases (not for every user).

It feels like a bit of a lottery which bugs a user gets after installing. Not great but also not overly surprising for such a complex piece of software, being a mature OS packed with features and functionality at this point.

As long as there are no really big bugs that prevent something from actually working then I can deal with little visual niggles and the like.

18.5 is running well on my 15 pro.
Only think that bothers me is that the wallpaper in safari often seems to reload with a visible delay.
Turned out the wallpaper now.
That’s happening to me as well in iOS 18.1, so that’s not a problem of that build. I suspect that’s happening either because my storage is quite full, or because an issue in Apple’s side.

I have the feeling that it occurs more often since 18.4 or 18.5 but I could be wrong. Need to delete some stuff as well to get some more free storage. Probably it will help.
Currently running without a safari wallpaper :D

Total Internet Disaster continues. RC as with some earlier betas loses internet via 5G and Wi-fi almost at random. Affetcts Safari, banking apps and anything that needs to connect. No fix lasts, reboot, turn Wi-fi off then on, 5G only. Sometimes works for a bit then trouble again. Can't even upload to Apple Feedback App! ANY TIPS WELCOMED - iPhone 16 Pro Max..

UPDATE: just logged into the Feedback app and see = OPEN: Similar Reports "less than 10"
According to developer friends, this means that many 100s of people have reported this bug :)

Have they fixed a bug when push notifications doesn't come if your iPhone is locked and idle for 15-20 minutes? As I've read on Reddit and Apple Discussion Forum this problem exists on many user's iPhones. This problem occurs with WhatsApp, Telegram and other messengers. Push notifications come if you unlock iPhone or go to the app. I've already post issue about this in Apple Feedback, but they don't mark this issue as mass problem. Have anyone this problem?

Also if you listen to a WhatsApp voice message through the overhead speaker (you need to put your phone to your ear when listening to the voice message), then there will be an unpleasant "scratch" click when the volume is lowered to a minimum level.

Yeah, that’s why I’ve decided to listen to voice messages only if I’m wearing headphones or, sometimes, just putting the bottom speaker on my ear. I don’t know if they will ever fix that. But that’s not iOS fault. That’s Meta’s.

Anyone know if it fixes game mode? Ever since 18.4 Game Mode hasn't been enabled when opening Pokemon GO. I'm also seeing the brightness flicker on my 15 PM.

Don't have any issues with game mode, runnit 18.4.1 at the moment. Is it just Pokemon or happens to all games?
