Thank you for confirming. This will be the first time I'm updating on day 1. This has been an issue since 18.3, no sound from the native email app.

Edit: I can also confirm mail notification sound is back on iOS 18.5. I have three different accounts set with different sounds and they are back.

Is all base on preference. I like using Mac/finder doing the full install to minimize glitches.

If it helps, I always install OTA and my email notification sounds are also back (since this RC release and still working on the public release).

A long time ago I was like: only installing IPSW from iTunes.

Since a few years I only do OTA. Even installing Beta firmware on my main phone. No issues at all.
