Love that in Settings > Apps they have now listed all the apps in alphabetical order whereas previously they were listed in a jumbled manner making them difficult to find when wanting to change an apps settings.
Except when you search on the settings page the app itself ends up being way down in the results. Search for messag and see where the Messages app appears. Why can’t apple prioritize the app itself in the search results?

Agreed, they should bunch all of Apples native apps together at the top and in alphabetical order, then have a complete list underneath. Or even bunch together all of your recently used or most used apps for quick access. Even better would be the ability of rearranging them yourself.

iPhone 13 user here, running iOS 17.7. Should I update to iOS 18 or wait a bit?

Suggest you go to the relevant threads about 18.0 and 18.1 and have a read where you will see plenty of reasons to upgrade and some reasons why you may want to wait.

Ultimately only you can make this determination.
