Ok cool.

Ive been downloading the new Xcode and using the MD.pkg as good practise every time anyway, so just wondered if things had got spicy all of a sudden. Thanks for letting know.
I only update it when something isn‘t working… and this was such an occasion😅

Had to start the iPhone (15PM) update twice though as it threw me an error (10) during the process and then the phone was stuck in restore mode. Was able to update and NOT restore then fortunately at the second attempt

Is it just impression or there are new colors here?

You'll need the MobileDevice.pkg from the latest Xcode beta to install IPSW

Edit: Encountered an error and stuck loading so be warned
Strange, I never updated the MobileDevice.pkg from latest Xcode beta and IPSW installed with no issues.

Resolved:
Dark mode with light icons were still showing dark icons in spotlight searches in beta 4. They are now light icons again in beta 5, matching my Home Screen and App Library.

But they are still dark in the Apps folder within Settings.

Close enough.

Yeah I always always restart my phone and laptop before I do anything.

Maps dark icon changed colour - the raids are now grey.

To be fair the coloured version looked pretty gross with a black back ground.

New change. The Lock Screen notification icons now show their dark mode version when phone is locked with always on display turned on. When you pick up the phone the icon switches to the light mode icon as the display turns bright. This is cool. I’m using automatic icons (light / dark).

Shortcuts: An issue where one couldn't change the voice used in the "Speak" action has been fixed. You may need to go through each one and select the voice you require, even if it looks correct.

I use one of the Siri voices as all the rest sound rubbish (British English).

This applies to MacOS and iOS latest betas - you only need to fix the shortcuts in one place (I think).

Bilingual keyboard is still not working properly (it has been flaky on all betas) - This beta breaks the selection of the layout. But clearly they're working on it.

My icons all show as dark icons when doing spotlight searches when my icons are currently set as light icons so it’s still bugged for me.

correct me if I’m wrong but WhatsApp seems to have a dark logo? And on notifications, it used to be the light green logo but now it’s the darkened tint which is nice to see.

Finally jumped on 18 B5 on 15 Pro, First issue found is Find My map shown is at least 10 years old. Information, business names and people are correct. Rebooted, deleted and reinstalled Find my and Maps with no difference. Reported.
OK here in UK

Don't know if it's a bug or a new feature, but whenever I want to zoom my page to fit full screen in Safari, it turns it into a tab. Pinch my fingers inwards, turns it into a tab. Keep one finger stationary and slowly move my other finger, most times works. Weird.
