Shortcuts on the Homescreen now have dark mode icons.
No they aren’t, never got it though sadly, but yeah sad that the wallpaper you maybe wanted and you bought isn’t available
Find My - did a reboot and it seemed to still be working after the reboot.
I hope for their return before the official release. Those of the iPhone 14 Pro are available on iOS 18 beta
The arrangement of the icons in the control center works much better now and is less distracting with a less strange automatic re-arrangement of the icons. Having the brightness slider and the volume not directly beside was hard to do in previous betas, now it’s pretty convenient.

Bad change: the recents call list now directly initiates the call again when tapping the cell and the info button on the right is back. So basically it's pre-iOS 18 behavior. Sad.
Why the heck they changed it…that was so much better, no more missclicked calls…!!! Why apple why????
My 2 phones on iOS18 were slightly warm on Beta 6 on the first boot, but they both cooled down.

Sorry but I prefer the pre-iOS 18 method as it is now in B6. 90% of the time when I go to my recents is because I want to call someone back/again and having to do more than one action was frustrating.
This beta is likely the feature-complete release which is going to be flashed onto factory iPhone 16 devices. I don't think it will return if it was removed this late in the beta cycle.
One more action? It was the same, just only needed to tap on the phone symbol…
Before it was the whole name with which you could call somebody…
I liked the new design, click on name bring you to when you called this person the last time and duration of the call/s.
If you wanted to call this person just click on the phone symbol…easy and no more step to do than before…!?
That would be so bad ! Let’s cross fingers and hope that it will come back next Monday
Seems to be working just fine, and keyboard lag seems to be fixed as well. Thank goodness.
And if so, there could be an day 1 update for the new phones again or they will add this in the 18.1 release.
