The gatekeeping on generative AI has been eye opening. Dalle 3/Bing creator is beyond prudish into completely crazy cannot generate things that any wierdo ever in history maybe thought could be construed as lewd which in practice means mostly it cannot do things. The LLMs similarly take great pains to let you know that everything is controversial and cannot be commented on. What a waste of AI to have it so encumbered.

Doesn’t sound like much of an upgrade to me if those are the headlining features. How about fixing the keyboard first… when I try to edit my comment here and I tap in between words, half the time it inserts the text cursor and the other half it selects an entire word. So frustrating.
Haha! I was having the same problems today! Editing a word can be so buggy

I'm guessing that the next OS will be all about the AI, as Samsung started using in their latest phones.

Even the phone dial app is super lacking, the way to edit text is super no-friendly (compared to Android), so, “smart features” available for the messaging app used mostly in USA is to useless for me. Definelty my last iPhone, I will keep my iPad and IMac off course, but iPhones are super deficient in soooo many aspects now that is Joke (hardware and SW).
Sad part is that Android phones have similar limitations compared to iOS. You get an iPhone and start complaining about keyboard, navigation, retarded autocorrection and things like being unable to set a snooze time. You get Android and get frustrated by the lack of Airdrop-like tool, good password manager, smoothness of UI etc. This game has no end.

I find the top comments lack of faith concerning/deserving… nevertheless I believe this is the year Siri becomes a grownup and starts earning her way in the world. Iteration after iteration have grown the A series’ power/efficiency balance to what is coming this year.

This is what I tell myself, typing on an XS that I hope to massively upgrade in the fall.

I hope a smarter Siri comes to the entire ecosystem at one time. I can’t handle the idea that an improved Siri will be able to do some things differently on my phone than on my watch (which is still the case now).

This better Siri should hit the phone, Mac, watch, HomePod, iPad, and TV simultaneously.

Well you know Apple it’s going to require you to buy a new device. Per usual.

Widgets could be made much better. For instance A calendar widget should scroll. Not just take you to the app. Same with email

My wish list, because I'm sure Apple is reading :D
1. For the love of God, please give us rising volume on alarms - and no, I don't want to use a bedtime routine
2. Anyone old enough to remember iOS6? Yes, please give us a snappier UI, or at least the option to make it faster
3. The blue bubble green bubble thing is kind of ridiculous at this point. Please stop trying to divide us
Thanks for listening.

I expect an increase in “leaks” as Apple fights to keep people in the ecosystem amidst more (currently) promising phone offerings.

Id say more iphones are for the chop… if this is the biggest update in years

More and more features to disable or mute when i update… i still use my iphone as i did 10 years ago… i just want a super stable and efficient OS on my phone.
