If you wanted to, ideally, perform just one install, would you wait till iOS 18.0.1 and then install it on all your devices? Or would you install 18.0 just in case 18.0.1 comes with some unexpected bug or battery drain issue?

I'd think 18.0.1 would be very stable considering how long Apple has worked. But that is the fear with every update, we are never guaranteed anything. Some thing can always be or wrong

Bet would be on 18.0.1, surely it has to be better.

It makes sense that both 18.0.1 and 18.1 beta 6 are being held back. They’re trying to fix iPadOS for the M4 iPads, and whatever changes they make to those, they need to make them for 18.1 too.

Sadly this is quite likely correct
