Its early, sure it can show up in the next 2 hours. Likely some increased verification of updating from various previous seeds occurring.

not sure what he meant by "download center already updated" as the reason we aren't getting iOS beta today. has it never been updated more than once a day?

just because 18.0.1 is being tested doesnt mean it'll be released. If it's not tomorrow prepare for it to never see the light of day

There’s a reason you can pair a watch with version older than iOS but not the other way around. watchOS is dependent on iOS for full functionality.

If you wanted to, ideally, perform just one install, would you wait till iOS 18.0.1 and then install it on all your devices? Or would you install 18.0 just in case 18.0.1 comes with some unexpected bug or battery drain issue?

I'd think 18.0.1 would be very stable considering how long Apple has worked. But that is the fear with every update, we are never guaranteed anything. Some thing can always be or wrong

Okay, I’ll keep waiting a bit more. iOS 18.0.1 should come with lots of bug fixes.

Basically skipped all main ones; iOS, iPadOS and macOS. Definitely a reason.

It makes sense that both 18.0.1 and 18.1 beta 6 are being held back. They’re trying to fix iPadOS for the M4 iPads, and whatever changes they make to those, they need to make them for 18.1 too.
