Not sure that is necessarily true. The WatchOS beta will require whichever iOS build the developers have programmed into it.
There’s dependencies so iOS will be later than watchOS but not the other way around. Don’t think that has ever happened before until now.
 
I don’t see them listed on the public Apple releases site. Are the WatchOS and TVOS builds A?

The existing iOS beta (2) has successfully installed the new watch beta (22S5550a) on my Series 7. So don’t hold your breath waiting on iOS beta 3
 
There can’t be a watchOS beta without iOS beta. So there’s still hope.

There have been same/similar instances in the past. For example, watchOS 10.5 RC 2 had no corresponding iOS update. Even with public releases, watchOS 9.5.1 and 9.6.1 had no corresponding iOS update.

There is suddenly no choices under "beta updates" in "software update" settings. Maybe apple is revamping the "update rings". Could we see a 18.4 beta start earlier than the 18.3 release?
