I have all my devices full charged, to install 18.4, so if it doesn't fall today....... I spend the batteries so that they are empty!!!! So I have a lot of hope bro!!!:cool:
I was more inspired about today, I replaced my M1 iMac with a 14” M4 Pro 14/20/24/1 MBP + Studio Display, all backed up like everything else. So yeah lots of hope for 18.4.

It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had to wait more than a week between a .3 and .4 release.

Does Apple Intelligence change anything, what point releases have sizable features like this?

I’d figure Apple can’t wait too long on this. It’s launching April and by then iOS 19 will already be two months from announcing.

My thought process is that this is an important update that will need a lot of testing, and if it was ready to be seeded it would’ve been released last week. Maybe it will be released this week, who knows. But I’m pretty confident that the beta either wasn’t ready last week, or there was a last minute security patch they needed to add. If it’s the latter, they will prioritize a 18.3.1 update first.

I firmly disagree with that. Apple often releases a beta for the next version a week after the public release of the current version. It’s less often that Apple releases a beta for the next version the same week that they release the public version as I understand it, though they actually release the first betas for the next version a week before the public release of the current version the first couple times with iOS 18, so we were more hopeful of something less typical with this release, aka, releasing the beta last week. This week would be a normal timeframe for Apple to release a beta for iOS 18.4. Also, we will probably want more betas for this version because it’s rumored to include so many major changes. Pushing back beta seeding further at this point would just mean less possible betas, which wouldn’t make much sense. As I’ve already mentioned several times in this thread, Apple has already been working on 18.4 for many months at this point. They’re not sitting there like “oh no, we don’t have enough time to develop 18.4, we need to push it back a couple more weeks”… They’ve probably been working on these features since before iOS 18 was announced almost a year ago!!! This beta has been planned and been under development for many months at this point, they are not running around like chickens with their heads cut off wondering what to do with 18.4…. So the idea that they’re pushing it back somehow makes zero sense…

Like I said, I could be wrong. But at the end of the day, we’re both guessing and neither of us know. Only Apple knows what they’re going to do.

Yes, both of us are guessing, but one thing that isn’t a guess is that we absolutely know that Apple has very likely been working on the features for this update since before iOS 18 was announced almost a year ago, and they have definitely already been working on iOS 18.4 for several months now.

I’m going to suspect nothings coming until Apple makes a statement about it. Didn’t they do that for 18.2 beta?

A. You should be ashamed of yourself for the negativity. 😂😉👍🏻. B. They don’t usually make any statements before seeding a beta, so I wouldn’t expect them to do so now.

PS, just kidding about the italics text, lol! 😂👍🏻
