This looks so accurate that it almost seems like it came directly from Apple lol.

Since Apple didn’t announce the iPhone SE today, I think the chances of a beta release today might be higher. I’m not sure they’d want to do both in the same day, that way one doesn’t steal attention from the other. So if they’re going to do them on different days, maybe today could be the 18.4 beta, and tomorrow or day after could be the iPhone SE 4, plus possibly some other new rumored hardware. 👍🏻

Also all the reporting about Apple reaching a deal with a Chinese AI company to bring Apple Intelligence to China could be another possible indicator for a beta today.

I’m feeling good about today. 👍🏻

I don’t understand the complaints honestly.
Apple *literally said* all the way back in June that these features wouldn’t arrive until the spring.
They explicitly said that, and they almost always explicitly say when that is true.
Did you assume that they were just going to drop it in October as a surprise? Of course not.
Personally, I much prefer the steady march of new features.
I was following these forums in the iOS 5, 6, 7 era when X.0s would launch in September but then we wouldn’t get a full final X.1 until March and all X.1 did was fix bugs and maybe change a tiny UI element here or there. November through May would get booooooooooooooooring.

If you think of the new software introductions is not showing off of a new version, but more of a roadmap for the next year and a bunch of small updates, it really makes it more enjoyable.
When WWDC rolls around, forget which software number is coming and just think of it as “ what features will be rolling out over the next 12 months”. The version numbers don’t matter, this isn’t 2011. Everyone knows for the most part 18.7 and 19.0 will be pretty similar and everything won’t be available until 19.5 or so. So just… Forget the version number. It’s not iOS 19, it’s just the next series of features slowly rolling out.

I guess that’s true, but if they’re already announced the new Beats earbuds, wouldn’t they have announced the new iPhone SE at the same time? Maybe not, it would strike me a bit odd though. 👍🏻

Remember guys, a lot of times they end up showing up like 15 minutes or so after 10:00 Cupertino time. And sometimes even later than that. 👍🏻
