People seem to forget that we had a similar situation with iOS 13. We had roughly 8 betas of 13.0 until mid-August, then they out of nowhere started pushing 13.1 betas in August and you could either stay on B8 or hop on 13.1 Beta 1.
That was, if I recall correctly, due to them pushing device orders early due to sanctions on the horizon, but it is a precedent.
I wonder if they do the same here or if they just add a new seed to the updates menu for 18.1. iOS 18 feels way too unstable to be locked in for prime / to go without any further testing.
