Just in case it wasn't already clear, folks: the 18.1 betas are running in parallel with the 18.0 betas, not replacing them — 18.0 is presumably on the originally planned release timeline (if anything, moving AI out of 18.0 and into 18.1 could reduce the probability of extra 18.0 builds being needed for AI-related bugfixes late in the release cycle).
 
Why are you surprised that there is no AI in the EU? On the day of the presentation, they already warned that it would only be released for the US and in US English and that it would be expanded to more languages and countries throughout 2025.

What I don't understand is why they allow installing a beta version in countries and languages where they are not going to support it at the moment. They should have restricted access only where AI can be used. I suppose that this beta will be on par with the iOS 18.0 betas in terms of bug fixes, only adding artificial intelligence models.
