iOS 18 Speculation Thread

I did. So far I've moved my work schedule around 3 times this week to get the 8.1 beta update as quickly as possible. I'm pretty salty that what would be like two hours of installing and bug finding for APPLE has cost me to lose sick time and havae to switch shifts.

If Apple keeps wanting us to be their testers they need to put out their betas on a regular & PROMISED schedule so that we can plan our lives around them. If they don't care about us then fine, we will stop carrying back.

They better follow thru today

Considering your PASSION/DEDICATION to testing, how many bugs have you reported so far on 18.1?

Asking for a friend whose last name isn’t Cook.;)

so far i've found 3 bugs:

1. tinted icons don't look good with certain wallpapers (some icons get washed out)
2. phone heating up a lot when doing certain things
3. keyboard animation is laggy when you bring it up during a game in landscape mode

also I have seen siri not connect several times this week.

if you work for APPLE and want more info on anyr of these i will happily give you more

About this time in the process each year we start seeing Apple dialing things in and that usually results in better battery life typically.

Did you report them in the feedback app?
 
After the last response for my bug report I’ll not send another feedback again. The answer was in short: upgrade your iphone to 18.0 beta 6 and try again… I only said that I’m using 18.1…
