Sorry. Is DCE the same as look around?
I lost it too. But it hasn't come back.Is anybody else randomly losing the ability to make "reports" while navigating on CarPlay?
I hit the arrow button this evening to bring up the menu, but my only options were to add a stop or share my ETA.
When I got home, the report function had returned.
So it seems everyone is getting these glitches now where Maps is randomly highlighting random baggage claim carousels across the country.
Think they're finally working on back-end changes for future updates that's causing this?
A map with the years of the Look Around images.Something that stood out for me was reading about some of Ireland’s Look Around imagery…and that apparently some of it is from 2019. That…is disappointing.
My hopes for more releases in the US are going up again! But, speaking for my area, if Apple releases it Look Around with imagery from 2019…it will be horribly out of date. We have had quite a large amount of residential development. New roads. Businesses that have come and gone (especially during the Covid years). Meanwhile, Google Street View has been updated with new imagery 5 times since 2019…and of those, 2 of them happened in the same year.

Ireland had full coverage of look around, Monaco has the DCE, and Thailand has the New Map Data.Almost time for me to copy/paste/update the first post for WWDC and iOS26 to pin to the next iOS update here on MacRumors…any suggestions or new/improved info?
If we’re missing anything thing from that first post from an info standpoint, please update as you see fit so it is correct as possible when we start the new thread.
Thanks!
Can you update the first post? It's a WikiPostIreland had full coverage of look around, Monaco has the DCE, and Thailand has the New Map Data.
Anyone else catch the WWDC presentation?
A few things mentioned with Maps. CarPlay will receive a slight makeover with the new liquid glass look. Widgets will now be supported within CarPlay, and phone calls will no longer take over the whole screen while navigating.
For Maps specifically, your phone will now better learn your daily routines, and even suggest routes that take into consideration multiple stops. Maps will also alert you ahead of time when unusual traffic could delay your arrival at a destination you regularly visit, even when you don't have a route active. Maps will also (privately) keep track of locations you've visited, in case you'd like to someday share a place with someone.
Of additional note, during all footage that showed an activate route in Maps, the camera view was zoomed way in behind the vehicle, similar to how it looks when about to exit a highway when driving in an area with DCE. Makes me wonder if they're planning some visual changes to how routes are displayed later this year.
