I have a 1Gb fiber optic connection with a stable internet connection, and my iPhone keeps pausing downloads because it doesn't have internet access. Now I understand why I was getting delayed notifications on my iPad with iOS 26.1; it's because the first beta of iOS 26.2 was randomly losing its internet connection for no reason. What a terrible modem Apple implemented in this beta! I hope they've improved it in beta 2, once the downloads stop pausing, of course, because otherwise I'll have to downgrade to iOS 26.1.

They definitely fixed the damn stuttering because my 17 Pro is now back to being smooth AF.

Now, if they could only increase haptic feedback across the board, especially when typing, that'd be great. Also, the low typing sound needs to be addressed as well.

I’m looking forward to the same experience with my 17 Pro Max.

Anything that tries to invoke the new animations closes that app and goes to my home screen. Anyone else having this issue? I’ve tried hard reset and the issue still occurs.

Edit: after enabling reduce motion and then turning it back off it seems to have fixed my issue. I now have the new animation without the app force closing on me : ).

Not fixed:

- Widget stacks can't be made in the Today View. Have to make elsewhere and drag over.

- I doubt anyone here cares apart from me, but setting Always On Display in a shortcut will cause the shortcut to crash if AOD is already in the state it tries to change to.

I’ve seen you mention the AOD shortcut a few times, can’t say I’m experiencing the same however.

When AOD is already set to on, running my “AOD On” shortcut just gives me the checkmark in the Dynamic Island and goes away without issue. Same with Off.

It maybe takes half a second longer than switching from Off to On (or vice versa), but it always successfully completes. 15PM.

It crashes "silently".

Create a shortcut that turns AOD on and then sends a notification. If AOD is off, you'll get the notification. If it's already on, the AOD action will wait a second or two, then crash the shortcut. You won't get the notification.

I just dismissed it too quickly, but the "x" button for sections in Notification Center now use Liquid Glass instead of the old blur. And it might be placebo but long press notifications on the Lock Screen now display immediately. It had a noticeable pause for years.
