Maybe it could be a setting? I work 13.33 hour shifts and I prefer that calendar event disappear after 15 minutes because, well, I don’t need to be reminded all day that I’m there.

Makes sense for shorter events though.
I like it for social events or workshops, for example, where I may not want/need to be there at the beginning, but don't want my widget to be blank, as I'll probably forget the event exists!

Calendar 366 has a toggle on each widget "Show started events" so they do realise that not everyone is like me 😁. Actually, I assume most people don't want this feature as I don't see anyone else complain about it.

I agree. All the visual stuff does not contribute anything and just adds dead weight to the CPU and GPU. Maybe they need to make iphone 26 looking faster than the 16…
Agreed. This is ultimate the issue with it… it adds zero to usability. And, currently at least, makes things harder to read in many situations.

The liquid glass thing isn’t even consistent. In same cases, the animation is like a moving a piece of glass over the options options underneath… in others it’s like you drag the options left and right, and it’s the piece of glass that doesn’t move…

I disagree. Liquid glass as a material is for navigational elements basically, it morphs between back buttons, selectors, side bars, menus, search bar etc, anything to allows you to to manipulate the content which sits on a plane beneath it. It's transparent to allow it visually to sit on top of the content plane. As a concept I think it works quite well actually.

oo - the one that started at 19:05 and is still showing at 19:24 ... that looks good! Unless it's just that the widget hasn't updated 😁

Thanks for checking.

EDIT: Ah, it has no end-time! I guess it's a reminder rather than an event. I don't use reminders with date/time but it's good to know that if I change my workflow they do stay visible.
I only use events, the end is set to 5 minutes after midnight

Oh! I guess it's a bug then, as if you'd set it to end 5 minutes *before* midnight it would have probably shown as "19:05 - 23:55" (instead of just "19:05" and being listed twice) and disappeared from view at 19:20.

That's a *good* bug!

The interesting thing is that iPadOS 26's multitasking windowing system is fully supported on iPad 11, but the previous iPadOS 18 Stage Manager is not.

Anyone come across this yet? Iphone SE2022.
Same applies to ipad except you dont get the error message.

The automatic deletion of downloaded podcast episodes after 24 hrs does work again with this first beta :)
Got broken for me somewhere with 18.4 and 18.5.

That’s why you should use genuine battery from Apple, not some cheap 3rd party battery 🙈
The iphone 12 is only worth $100 so why spend $120 on an Apple battery. I'm waiting for next iPhone with user-replaceable battery as mandated by EU legislation to become law soon.

Anyone encounter a horizontal line while using Safari?
yes, very often, seems almost site dependent but at the same time random.

Sometimes it’s there and doesn’t go away, sometimes it appears and disappears when scrolling/panning.

Sometimes swapping to a different tab then back fixes it, sometimes going back to the Home Screen or different app then back into Safari fixes it.

I reportedit as a bug but who knows what they are thinking. Private browsing not being allowed if your screen time is locked with a passcode serms like a bug but they made it legit with a warning message.
