My phone is running DP7; my watch is on watchOS 11.6.1. The new way of the blood oxygen applet is working as Apple said it would. Run the diagnostic on the watch and see the results in the Health app on the phone. I have pinned the Blood Oxygen setting to the Home Screen in the Health app. Had to dig for it the first time that I tried it.

Anyone experiencing bugs with app icons? Specifically, when using dark mode icons: if an app is in a folder it will show the correct icon when the folder is open however, if you close the folder the app reverts back to the light mode icon. If I remove the app from the folder it works fine.

I’m running the same versions on phone (dp7) and watch (11.6.1). After I run the blood ox on my watch, first couple of times phone health app said that it was unable to analyze the data. But third time, health app on phone reported a blood oxygen reading correctly.

Yeah my app icons are all over the place and very glitchy, they turn black when tapping them. None of this happened in beta 6, so it's new.

On 16 Plus if it matters.

Has anyone noticed if the typing bug in Chrome has been fixed yet? Pretty much have to use Safari if you are typing anything in the browser and have a Magic Keyboard.

I did.

In addition to all the minor regressions I've spotted in beta 7, the keyboard is lagging for me when typing in beta 7 and it wasn't on beta 6 at all. I already tried hard restart, hope it's the indexing being weird, altho in beta 6 i had no such issues even while it was indexing...

If it is too bad try an IPSW install over it or wait for Beta 8 next week?

What does that mean? Seen it in several posts. Would be nice to learn
It means that this build was only compiled one time before Apple seeded it to developers. More times its compiled, less polished the "starting" build was. "a" build signals we are approaching the end of the beta cycle. We will likely get one more "a" or "b" build next week, and that will be the last beta absent any emergencies until the RC, which will be seeded on or around September 9.
