Maps has been broken since beta 9, and isn’t fixed. If you start navigation and then turn the display off (like I do in my car) navigation pauses, and doesn’t update through my stereo until I turn the screen back on.
I just submitted feedback about it, but since it made its way to the RC I’m not optimistic about this getting fixed.

When going into an existing text thread. Click on the contact or thread name, go to photos tab. I get blank photos. I click to delete them, go out of the thread, and then go back into the photos tab again, and all of the blank photos reappear. Anyone else?

Why wait for next week? Doesn’t makes sense in my eyes, the RC is most likely the version everyone gets to download next Monday 🤣
Because the amount of bugs people are reporting are still present makes me think that it’s not the version “everyone will get to download” - like it happened last year and a few other times.

Also, after reading the whole thread, staying on 18.6.2 until 26.0.1 is also something which I’m considering now.

I’m running 26 on my iPads, and there’s not that much in it to make me sacrifice stability and battery life on my phone.

I flashed using IPSW and restored from backup. The phone is continuously stuttering, draining battery like crazy and running extremely hot, one day later. I took it off charge 15 mins ago and since then, has dropped 10% with normal usage and battery health has gone 2% in 1 day. I will give it another night and if it doesn’t improve, will flash again and not restore from backup

I'm on comfy iOS 18.7 RC but liquid glass seems a bit enticing. On a scale from 1 - 10, how stable is the RC? 10 being the most stable.
9/10 on my 15 Pro. I'm super impressed with the progress Apple has made because I would have rated it 4/10 back on Beta 5 and earlier. It seems to be ready to go!

Battery pretty bad yesterday although kind of expected, but today battery life is really good. a welcome plus for my 13 and it's well worn battery. Not noticing any annoying bugs either. Seems very stable and smooth.

After testing iOS 26.0 RC on my iPhone 11 Pro Max for a few hours, I decided to go back to iOS 18.6.2 and just update to iOS 18.7 RC. I don't know about the newer iPhone models but I think Apple should not have released iOS 26.x for iPhone 11 series at all. It reminds me of iPhone 4s getting iOS 9.x when it should not have.

What's wrong? Does it slow down? Does it discharge much faster on 26?
