One thing I noticed just now, with 26.2 on the 17 Pro the icon outline pop-in isn’t there anymore with battery saver mode.
Seems that this was changed during the 26.2 betas?

Do you think there’s a chance for a second beta next Monday or Tuesday?
There's a much better chance that beta 2 doesn't come until the week of January 5th.. There's a reason most folks tend to stay away from the betas (especially a 'beta 1') during the holidays 😉

26.1 is no longer being signed

26.2.1 could be around the corner

Next week will be interesting to see if anything comes out. I would say almost zero chance, but normally they it seems their is two versions of iOS in play and when one stops getting signed a update isn't far behind. This could also setup things for right away when they return as well.

Beta 2 better come today.

This CarPlay BS has already wrecked my 2025 Rewind, having to wait til next year to listen to music and drive safely is unacceptable.

Maybe try some troubleshooting, I haven’t had any issues on mine with CarPlay, so maybe it’s an error from the install or something? I wish I could be more helpful, but maybe a reinstall would fix the issue?

Although I agree it's unacceptable, as I'm in the same boat, don't expect any sort of updates this week...

Gank41 and I have tried about everything as this started hitting us in the 26.2 betas.

I apparently don’t learn from my mistakes.

Yeah, a few people here in the forums where I’ve 3 Feedback #’s filed for this, one actually acknowledged that “more than 10” are impacted.

Plenty of troubleshooting has been done. For me it’s 4 model phones across 3 cars.

But as for speculation about the next release, I’d be surprised if anything comes before Monday January 5th…

I'm surprised you're still having the CarPlay issues. I was super impacted but when I upgraded to iOS 26.2 Final they all resolved. They were still there up to the first release candidate. I do hope Apple figures it out for you - it was a very frustrating few months until mine got fixed.

Very bummed that we are unlikely to see any beta for the next 2 weeks. 26.2 brought cellular connectivity to my watch with my carrier, the next day 26.3 public beta releases with no indications in the release notes that it would remove it... so now two weeks without cellular :(

RC/RC2 and Release did indeed work for me. I should have stuck with it.
