There will be more 26.6 betas, so Apple might still release 26.5.1 next week.

I think there will be a 26.5.1 next week to fix the Encrypted RCS issues, maybe update the new Network URL filter in 26.5 and whatever security updates are ready.

While Thursday releases are not as uncommon, some of the dates in your list were actually Monday.

5-15-17 & 8-26-19 for instance were Monday and not Thursday.

Ah man, I took @one more screenshot as fact and added those two to my list that I already had (and those were not on it). Didn't fact check it. Dam* 🙂 Beta 5 of 10.3.2 was on a Thursday and had it on my orig list. I have been keeping it for a LONG time and adding to it. Anyway I think my original list made my point without those two dates (should have left it like I had it lol)

Ok cool. But if this was a response to me I said 5.0.1 . (Thursday Nov 10 2011 iOS 5.0.1)

So clearly we didn't get a Thursday release last week. 🤷‍♂️ So perhaps Monday we will see 26.5.1 and/or beta 2 of 26.6 since it went public last week. Or Beta 2 Monday and 26.5.1 this Thursday.

I’m thinking Monday potentially Tuesday for 26.5.1.

26.6 will be interesting. Last year ios 18.6 came after wwdc but beta 1 and 2 both had 2 week gaps to the next beta. iOS 17.6 was the more traditional cycle with 2 weeks only between 1 and 2. I think we’ll see the traditional cycle and won’t see beta 2 till wwdc week. Also possible that beta 1 and 2 might get a 3 week gap.
