That’s good to know. It’s just the onerous task of having to book an appointment and get taken through all the questions I suppose. One of my favorites is “has this watch been exposed to water in the past 30 days?” To which I look at them “well, yeah, it’s an Ultra. It’s waterproof, no?”
No. Water resistant. HUGE difference. They ask that even tho most of the devices are on some level IP6X dust resistant just to see if you are using them in accordance with their respective limits.

I have gotten AirPods replaced a bunch of times and they always ask if they have come in contact with water. I always answer just light rain to which they reply “oh, rain is fine.” They are looking for things like “yeah, they fell in the toilet” or “I dropped them in a lake and it took about 30m to fish them out.” Those exceed the recommended limits and would likely cause water damage.

The Ultras can go down up to 100 metres. Anything more and they’d likely ding you for it. Next time tell them you dove down 99 metres lol.

Occasionally FaceID is not working properly when using Raise to Wake. Usually it unlocked phone automatically whenever phones was lifted. Now I doesn’t work anymore and I have to lock/unlock via lock button for it to work.
This is kinda distressing. Never before OS26+ has core features like that broken before. Their QA is almost non existent these days. OS26 feels like one giant beta and they are on 26.6 already.

Has anyone else have problem with the favorite contacts list ? The first one does not do anything when I press it doesn’t call at all. All the rest are working

No problem on my 12PM, but my first favorite is my ex, I called her for nothing just for testing :x

I have a new bug in an auxiliary Maps widget (the area marked with red in the image) in CarPlay. The widget recognises the touch (the shortcut circles expand slightly), yet the Maps do not route to the marked destination. All the other on-screen widgets and the main Maps area respond to the touch as expected. This is new to DB5, as this bug was not present in the previous betas. Feedback submitted.

I don’t have a 3D icon in maps anymore (unless I use two fingers to get 3D). Am sure it was there in previous versions? Feedback ID: FB24287016

I think this is an expected behaviour, as I only have “2D” round button appearing when the Maps are in 3D mode. I don’t remember it being any other way.

is everyone having the visual bug some users are mentioning here where there's content overlap in the Messages app?

"Once I send a message and go back to the messages homescreen the top banner almost takes up half the screen"
Yes.. it’s been mentioned that it only happens if you have pinned threads. You should submit a feedback anyway.

As far as the feedback system goes, I think it should allow you to “search” for an issue to see if someone else has posted it and click an “I have that issue too” and allow it to collect your diagnostics, screenshots, etc. and attach it to the master ticket.

I don't know if this just now started on this beta or whether it was there before.

When you call someone in their birthday, it tells you so. With a nice animation and all.

Of course, this depends on you entering the birthdate on their contact card.

I occasionally swim with it, but at most wear it in the shower.
