Quick question for those running iOS 7: if I delete a conversation (SMS or iMessage), does it still appear in Spotlight? This bug has existed for a while, and it would be great if it were finally squashed. Thanks!

Even when it did it would disappear the next time Spotlight would do its reindexing and/or the next time you restart the phone (which you could manually do right after deleting the conversation).

Right. That generally works if I'm deleting a small amount of text messages or so. But if I've had a lengthy conversation with someone, or if there's a long message thread that's never been deleted, then restarting the phone only works for some messages, but not for the majority of them.

Syncing usually does the trick for me.

Two questions on GM build.

1. Will my celluar baseband update automatically (verizon customer)
2. How do I make google chrome my default browser when opening links in text messages (and not safari) ?

1) Yes
2) You can't.

How's automatic updates working for everyone?

Mines update automatically but I dont get a notification or even know til I go to the App Store.

For example when Chrome updated today I got a notification telling me Chrome and The Verge app were updated. But The Verge was updated last night.

1) Can I view the calendar in month to view as opposed to how it is in iOS 7 as standard? Day to view isn't it, with dates across the top?

2) How do I delete cities in the weather app? Can seem to add them but cannot delete them. For example it seems to have added Glasgow and London to my weather locations and I don't give two hoots about either but can't delete.

3) How can I get my music to display just how it used to on iOS 6? I have to scroll through all the songs on 30 albums say to get to the bottom of the list if I needed to. Maybe not explaining myself on number 3 very well. Hopefully you'll remember how it was on previous versions of iOS and that is what I want.

Thank you.

1) Not sure what you mean? You can look at a single day (which also shows the week), the month, and the whole year. Also, you can see the list view by tapping the magnifying glass next to the plus button on the top. Are none of these what you're looking for?

2) Swipe to the left on the city to bring up the delete option.

3) You can't.

Yeah... some good proof that upgrade installs are flaky...
Many experiences with nothing being weird when upgrading. Many experiences with something still being off when restoring. No real proof one way or anther, just that everyone's experience can be different for different reasons.

It's strange, I've never really had problems with any iOS GM's before. This is the first time I decided to try an update rather than a restore though. I do however acknowledge that this is a complete redesign of iOS since the first iPhone so I suppose you can't expect everything to be totally perfect.
