Is anyone else having trouble with app updates? I had a "7" badge on my App Store icon, but when I opened the App Store and went to updates, they all disappeared. Same thing happened yesterday. I randomly found one of the apps that needed updating (ebay), and it had a button that said "update", so I pressed it and it updated manually. But nothing shows up in the Updates section.

Same thing happened on my ipad (still running ios6).

Lot of people are having issues. Servers are overloaded and the store is struggling, it'll probably be some time before things are back to normal or at least better working order.

any help?
Try resetting all settings and see if that might resolve it.

My iPhone 5 just crashed. I had a new text message on the lock screen, when I swiped to reply it went straight to the black screen with the white apple.

Settings > General > Usage > Music > Delete App Data

Of course it currently says Delete App but it still only deletes the app data.

I don't know if Music deletes streamed songs after a period or not but it definitely uses storage space when streaming even after the song has been stopped.

Erm, no, that deletes the App itself now. The "Delete App Data" option has either moved to some new location or has been removed by Apple.

Which is a shame, as it was quite useful.

Just installed on my iPhone 5.

My 9 year old daughter comes over and says; "wow, how did you get it to look like a Samsung?"

Just upgraded my ipad to IOS 7. then all the applications became useless. I deleted them all and start to resync the application on my Itunes to the Ipad from scratch. But after Itune finished syncing I can not open any applications. once I opened them the icon will revert back to "waiting". Also eventhough the Itunes said "finish syncing" and the icon appears on the Ipad screen, they sill not "light up", meaning the icon is still dark like when you're installing it.

Anyone who experience the same situation ?

Close 3 apps in one swipe

I checked the first post and didn't see this, apologies if it is. If you enter the app switching screen, you can close three apps by using three fingers to swipe up. Each finger on an app.

Just discovered a new feature! iTunes Radio will randomly display a blank screen with no album art or song title just for fun!

I haven't upgraded to iOS 7, probably will do over the weekend.

Can someone answer me this?

In iOS6, when you get a Notification in the Notification Center, you also get a badge on the icon itself on the homescreen. The 1 fundamental flaw I found with this was that when you then read the notification from Notification Center, it does NOT clear the badge from the icon so essentially, you have to read the Notification from the Notification Center AND ALSO open the app to clear the badge icon?!

Is this STILL the same in iOS7?

Did she really though? :p:cool:

I doubt it.

By read, you mean go into the app from within notification center? It will not clear the badge if you simply go into NC - that wouldn't be a good idea.

I think that if you clear the notification from the NC (by pressing the x icon) it should also clear the badge from the icon!

But in essence, you haven't dealt with the notification - just cleared it. What about mail, where you have a few mail messages. You cannot see the entire body of text and clearing that would clear ALL mail in NC. The same for Messages - you cannot clear individual messages.

Why not just turn off the badge for the icon?

Don't know if this has been documented, probably has, but I found that you can manage the dictionaries you have installed now :)

We cannot disable the 'Archive' option in Mail?

I have gone through the forums for the last 15 mins but could not find these answered. I read that the 'Archive' option has been disabled in iOS 7. However, my wife had enabled that in iOS 6 and wants to disable it now that she has iOS 7, but cannot do it as that setting has been disabled. Please help!

With a Gmail account? What you've been hearing simply isn't true.

Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars --> Accounts (Gmail) --> Click where it says "Account ******@gmail.com>" --> Advanced (at the bottom) --> Change whatever it is you need to change, all options for Archive/Delete are in here.

A friend is saying his "radio" icon disappeared from the music app. Any way to fix other than a reset?

Their servers are overloaded I think. It disappears from time to time, and only has been doing that since launch day. iTunes Radio seems to be completely server side.
